Worked well but not now

Worked fine but no longer works- In the event that the valve is closed, the water continues to flow through the valve. Our pool was previously equipped with a model that appears to be inferior to this one. In my opinion, a second reviewer is right- Make sure the valve is heavy-duty by spending more money. This means I'm going to have to spend the additional money on getting rid of this valve, and on purchasing a new one along with related installation charges. Sorry to hear that.
