Male and female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads are used to connect male and female threaded pipes.

For water, oil, and gas (WOG), the pressure is 200 pounds per square inch (psig).

Hand wheel on the top of the gate that can be used to lower and raise it.

The castings are excellent, as is the gate slide inside the valve. Will undoubtedly last a long time. I bought 2 of these valves and neither of them shuts off 100%. Water trickles through the valve in a very small amount. br>This isn't a problem in my case. Ball valves in individual lines are used as shut offs after the 2" is split into different runs.

Excellent replacement for a gate valve

In a vertical application, I used this product to replace a gate valve. This product had excellent quality. I went to the local big box store to look for a suitable replacement, but none of the options were up to the standard of this valve. Make sure you understand the specifics of the valves you're looking for (e. g. , size, type, etc. ). (type of turn, lead-free). If the valve undergoes any changes over time, I will update this review.
