I'm a contractor who installed five of these valves in a project, and after a few months of use, four of them couldn't be turned off or leaked out of the stem. I thought I'd gotten a bad batch, so I bought replacements and installed them in July. One of them leaked after two weeks, and now they won't turn off again in October! br>Do not make this error!.
The valve leaks through and does not completely stop the flow of water. I scraped the valve and replaced it with one from a different manufacturer. It was a complete waste of both time and money.
My valve leaks a little, but the price is good.
Valve with a 1/2" threaded connection. It gave my decor the old-fashioned feel I wanted.
Works ok. When used as a shower valve, the valve becomes extremely difficult to close after about a month of use.
Excellent item.
