I'm guessing the answer is "2," as in "too many." "The valve will not close." It says watts, but it's a forgery that doesn't work. If you're interested, I have one of the useless ones!

I believe it to be the case.

Is there a pvc male adapter that this will connect to?

Yes, if the male adapter is threaded like a pipe.

It doesn't make a Yugo a Porsche just because I put the name Porsche on it. This looks like a Watts, but it isn't. It has no effect on the water flow. No matter how big the float ball is, it will not work.
