Also, make sure you're working on a clean table or floor so you can easily locate it if you drop it. If you have patience, it will work out fine. And don't let it bend.

Also, keep an eye on that tiny spring clip that secures the valve. Installing it can be difficult, and if you drop it, it can be difficult to locate on the floor. I'm a 20-year-old woman with a lot of potential. A year old MTD snow thrower with a Tecumseh engine had a problem with the carburetor jet gumming up, and the solution was to remove the float bowl and clean out the jet with a broom straw. However, after a few years of doing this, the float bowl gasket began to leak gas unless I tilted it over and drained the last few drops. I didn't want the garage to be filled with gas fumes. However, where can I get the necessary components? The motor still starts on the first pull, but there is no longer any gas leak, thanks to an original equipment manufacturer parts kit from Amazon. I had to be careful with the valve and spring, but it fit perfectly and runs perfectly; if I can do it, so can you!.
If you use a China substitute for your carburetor, the float valve will leak eventually. This is the real deal, so buy it now to avoid a headache later. It worked on an old 3D printer.
