Yes, but the linkage is a bit sloppy because the valve is designed to keep the plunger pushed out and in contact with the linkage arm at all times. I'm using on a maple syrup evaporator with only 8 inches of head pressure (not enough to keep the plunger pushed outward) and I had to shim out all the looseness in the linkage arm contact point. The valve began to function much more effectively after that. Having said that, I'm leaning toward a 5-star rating. It's possible that a pressure of 10 psi will be sufficient to keep the plunger extended.
No, I'm afraid it won't be possible.
It has a diameter of 1/4" and screws directly into a standard 8" float ball.

I really like this valve; it's been giving me years of trouble-free service, and I use it to keep the water level in my pond at a consistent level. I simply drilled holes in a pvc cap to connect it to my overflow pipe and use the outlet for a fountain. A water timer on the inlet side ensures that water is supplied three times a day, and if the water level is low, the fountain activates until the pond is filled.
This product was used to replace a damaged stock tank valve, and it has performed admirably for several months. The sold brass construction is of very high quality.
The float valve that was being replaced was the same one that had failed previously. The item arrived quickly and at a reasonable price.
It's quite effective. Arrived on time, in good condition, and on time.
I didn't completely turn off the water.
I'm not sure if this is a knockoff or if my water has a lot of TDS and this valve can't handle it. Next, I'm going to use a PVC valve. This appeared to be a long-term solution to me.
This item corresponds to the description. It's being used to fill a 500 gallon poly tank with water from a garden hose.
It worked for 4 months as a reserve tank on a pressure washer. Strange, it looked exactly like and was made by the same company; I couldn't tell the difference except that the old one had been in use for at least 20 years. The brand new was only good for four months. couldn; If you need a replacement, you can't get in touch with the seller.
