One of them was dead on arrival and could only support 30 pounds. The threads in both of them are terrible. To get a seal, I had to use tape eight times, yes eight times. br>Recent changes: Even after eight rounds of tape, the threads began to leak, so I tightened it even more. The valve splt, resulting in a waste of time.
There are no problems at all, and it functions perfectly. In order to get them to seal, people are overtightening them. To seal the pipe, apply Teflon tape and pipe dope. Because they are nickel plated copper, overtightening will cause them to crack.
This is an excellent tool for determining whether or not there are any leaks. Because I couldn't spray the compressor head with soapy water, this allowed me to test it.
To keep the com from leaking, the threads were bottomed out and one was cracked with thread tape. Junk.
