Do these work well for air aeration in ponds that are kept aerated even with their air source ?

In the case of a check valve, water will back up to the point of the valve but not beyond it. I am not sure how much psi the valve is rated for, but unless it is deep, I think it should be OK.

I have not been able to get anything to Combined with a dehumidifier in the basement and a condensate pump, I have it connected to the dehumidifier

There is an overflow of water over a concrete wall in the basement. A short time (under a minute) after the water drains from the wall, the water will come back into the Despite my desire to return, the time spent disconnecting is not worth it. it would be a good test. It does hold for an extremely short time, but it's not long lasting.

You will use less condensate when you use this method

The pump does not have to pump water twice it runs less frequently, lasts longer when the drain is stopped. This prevents water from running back into the pump when it shuts off.

Boosted up to 30 psi using this

Used this as the base for a brake booster check valve. It worked excellent until it was hit with boost, causing it to rupture and blow the rubber valve clean off. You may find this check valve useful for fish tanks, but you should not use it for anything else.
