It appears to be capable of supporting a significant amount of weight. Very strong.
Only one clip is included in the package, but it is of excellent quality.
My flag has a grommet with a diameter of about 1/2 inch, which is large enough.
I'm not sure where mine is, but it's been on my flagpole for about a year and is still going strong.

For the past three years, I've been using these clips. I've been flying flags from a halyard cord for about a year and a half, though I don't use them every day. They work well in all temperatures and conditions, but they aren't as long-lasting as I'd like; two of the four clips have already broken and had to be replaced.
When I go for a morning walk in the park, I use this snap hook to separate my car key from the rest of my keys and fob. br>It appears to be well made, but it sticks a little at times, so I'll use a small amount of dry silicone to fix it. I don't like walking around with a wad of keys or a car fob, so the quick disconnect is ideal for me, and I leave the rest of my keys in the car. I don't care if I use the fob to open or close the car. br>br>I believe it is a little overpriced, but I was aware of the price when I purchased it, and if it holds up well, I believe it will be worthwhile. Aside from that, it's not a huge sum of cash.
I bought two of these Trigger Snap Hooks so that my wife and I could quickly attach our paddles to our kayaks. We paddled nearly 100 miles in brackish water that ranged from mostly fresh to mostly salt, as well as practicing self-rescue (i. e. In a pool with a salt chlorinator, flipping) is done on purpose. After each trip, give it a quick rinse with fresh water and a spritz of.
It keeps my outdoor storage container, where we keep our potting soil and pots, secure because we don't need to lock it, but it does have a lift-up lid that could be blown open by a strong breeze. Much easier to use than the previous snap hook I used, which made putting on and taking off the ring, which is designed for a lock, a chore. I like it so much that I ordered one in stainless steel for the boat.
I grew up in a boating family and have always used these, especially on older wooden sailboats. I bought it for my keys, but the quality is a little disappointing. It worked great at first, but after a week of daily use, the clasp started to stick open. I've never had an issue with other trigger snap hooks, so I'm guessing it's the way this one was made.
This product is identical to the brass spring hooks that Coach used to sell with its purses many years ago, and they cost $10 or $15 at the time; I know this because I've had one of the old Coach versions for over 15 years. I needed another for a keyset and couldn't find one anywhere, including at Home Depot, which only had really crappy silver tone ones made in China that didn't close smoothly (I returned it for a refund). This snap hook is extremely strong, heavy, and durable.
This clip does not completely close on its own, as you can see in the attached image. The clip's two halves are misaligned, and their tips collide, preventing the clip from closing by itself. It should not be necessary to pinch the two clips together to close them. The item will be sent back to the customer.
All it takes is a squirt of WD-40. It's the golden age when you're 40 years old. or brass. I can't believe how difficult it was to track down these items in a store. For my keys to hook on my belt loop, I like the claw hook that overlaps like this. br>br>All I had to do was spray some WD-40 on the affected area. It received a score of 40 because it was stiff to open and close. It feels like it'll last a long time now that I've done that, and the brass looks really nice.
