I also appreciate having a spot to store my pen. The color of the gray marble is stunning. It was well worth the money.
I've been working in restaurants for about 6 years and have never had a better book than this one! After a busy Friday night, I usually get the generic black ones with two pockets, which overflow! I'm in love with this product after using it over the weekend! Unlike all of my other books, this one is cute and functional at a reasonable price, and now all of my coworkers want one as well. All of my cash is kept safe in the zipper pocket, and there are enough pockets to hold a pad and all of your receipts. It's a little smaller than some of my previous books, so it doesn't stab me in the stomach every time I bend down to pick something up, which is a nice bonus. I'm very pleased with this product and the purchase I made!.
The book's plastic-like texture was the first thing I noticed. That was followed by the book's sturdiness, which was appalling. I was taking a table order, assuming that the book would act as a "hard" surface for my tablet. It wasn't even close; every time I sat down to write, the entire pad and book flopped down. The next thing I noticed was that my pen in the holder was hitting my pad, causing it to stop and rip whenever I tried to turn the page. I noticed the book's spine was already starting to warp after one 5-hour shift. The book's plastic texture, both inside and out, was not as helpful as one might think. Nothing would fit without a fight in the 9 pockets. This product was AWFUL, so I've decided to return it.
Server and books are a match made in heaven. This one has been in my possession for nearly a year and is still in excellent condition! The only problem was that with all of the ink pens I kept in my apron, the white part of it became smudged and didn't stay as white as it should have, and the material was extremely difficult to clean.
I can't begin to describe the impact this had on my night as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for over seven years. br>br>Any sever knows that keeping track of your check slips, order book, change, money, and or employee card is essential to a successful money making night. br>br>Keep your belongings organized so you can easily complete your nightly check out. br>br>From one sever to the next, I strongly suggest this product.
I'm impressed by the amount of effort that went into creating this server book. The quality of the materials is excellent. There are several pockets and sleeves for storing money, receipts, and other items, as well as a large zipper that can hold plenty of coins and other items needed throughout the day. This also has a very professional appearance, and I believe it helped make my job as a server a little easier.
This is by far the best book I've ever purchased.
This server book has enough room for everything you need and more! The zipper compartment on the inside is extremely useful. br>I went with grey. Because my books are usually splattered with ink, the marble/distressed look is ideal. br>It's also lightweight but long-lasting. I wish it were a little more sturdy (it's a little floppy), but I don't regret purchasing it. This is an excellent product.
