Because these checkbooks are so thin, they are prone to breaking. br>I wrapped mine in decorative duct tape to make it last longer and also because I thought it looked cute. br>However, the book began to fall apart again, even with the protective covering of my adorable duct tape. br>br>However, as the need arises, I will most likely order this same product again. For the price, it's one of the better check book holders on the market, and it's simple enough to secure with duct tape if necessary.
When you're in a hurry, it'll suffice for pizza delivery. Because the interior flap/holder is only a flexible flap and not a clip, it doesn't grip the receipt paper very well. To reinforce the moving structure, I recommend applying a piece of black gorilla tape to the inside spine. This has been identified as a weak spot in previous reviews, and it has shown no signs of wear after several months of daily use. I can't say I'm disappointed for $6.
It's a check presenter, to be precise. What am I supposed to write? I think $5 is a ridiculous price, but they're all higher elsewhere, and I need one for work (I'm a waiter/bartender). It performs admirably and is of higher quality than the majority of the others I've used in the past.
In less than a month, my spine was broken.
For the first two weeks, I liked the product and it seemed sturdy, but then the plastic on the right hand side separated from the cardboard and ripped down the length of the right hand side, which I did not bend backwards.
It has a solid, not "cheap" feel to it. I've had it for two months and it's still the same as when I first bought it. When it starts to wear on me, I'll post an update.
They don't last long if they're too thin.
It worked perfectly as a temporary server book until I could afford a proper server book! It's extremely tough and can withstand a lot of abuse on a daily basis!.
