This server book is great, but I don't use the guest order pad. It's a nightmare to find paper that fits it. The dollar store is where I get my long memo pads. I tried cutting the card board to fit the slot, but it was too big. That had turned into a drudgery. So now I just use a paper clip to hold it together. Oh, and one more thing. . . . A left-handed option is required for those of us who are left-handed. It is designed for people who are right-handed. It can't be turned inside out. I'll take care of the minor drawbacks. I am confident that I will place another order in the future. Mine is changing colors as well, but it isn't a major problem.
I've been using it for over a month and love how it fits in my apron and allows me to bend over without obstructing my stomach, which was a problem with every other server book I tried, and the price is unbeatable.
It works great and never gets in the way when I'm bending over or doing other things that the taller server books have in the past caused issues with. Excellent choice for any server.
This folder is one of my favorite. Okay, I understand that this was created to help waiters and waitresses present their bills for food served, and it does so elegantly. I purchased it as a small notes folder to fit in my handbag. I keep postage stamps, return address labels, post-it notes, business cards, a small notepad, and a pen in mine so that I can quickly access these items when I'm out and about. Because my iPad, Kindle, and iPhone covers are all coordinated with a teal marbled graphic, the cover is a beautiful addition to my collection. LOVE IT!.
This is my first server book, and it has received a lot of positive feedback and is extremely durable. I'm clumsy, and I've spilled so much on my apron and book that I'm surprised it's still in good shape. Easy to clean, with plenty of pockets for all of my receipts and bank statements! It's a WIN-WIN situation! This book is fantastic, and it even came with a checkbook, which was extremely useful to me.
It is described as a green marble in the product description. The color green is nowhere to be found when you open the box. It has a blue hue to it. The texture of the server book is also not what it appears to be. The book appears to be flimsy and not very durable. I am dissatisfied with the product and will be returning it.
This is fantastic! Extra short so it almost completely tucks in, sturdy metal plated corners, and I got black/gold marble, which everyone compliments every time I pull it out. It looks really put together with the gold wine key, cigar cutter, lighter, and jewelry. I wasn't aware of the lifetime warranty until after I purchased it. A small business that is doing well is something I admire. Thank you so much! br>br>**one minor quibble: the space behind the order pad does not open at the top, which drives me insane. When I'm busy, my hands think it's a good idea to put money in the order pad. As a result, it throws me for a loop until my muscles remember where these pockets are.
The pocket with the zipper is too small. Bills are difficult to come by, and change is even more difficult. I also wish the pen holder was located in the middle of the binding rather than on one of the sides.
