The undertones are warm rather than cool. I'd say it's somewhere between a bright and a creamy white, though some whites with cool undertones can take on a bluish tint in certain lighting. Only one side of the napkin holder has the word "napkin" written on it. The napkin holder's reverse side is "plain" or "pure white," with no writing or label.

This was on my wife's wish list, and the price was right, so I bought it for her. We live in a 107-year-old house, and this blends in beautifully with the decor, particularly in the kitchen. The finish is flawless, and it appears to be well constructed; the only "issue" is that it does not sit flat on the counter. The bottom is slightly warped, but it still looks good and functions well.
Napkin holder with a lot of personality! It was exactly what I was looking for. I don't have to refill it as often because it holds a lot of napkins.
When you need a napkin, where are you going to find one? So it's now in this napkin holder on the counter. This is a fantastic item. While I would not recommend it to others, I would suggest it to others. You'd think the picture would be longer than it is wide based on its appearance, but this is not the case. It turns out that it's too short for the napkins in the photo. But it's all fine and dandy, and I just can't seem to make it work.
It matches my kitchen perfectly and looks just like the picture. My only complaint is that it does not hold a large quantity of napkins!.
