I'd had this napkin holder in my cart for a while, and I'd searched high and low for a sturdy, attractive napkin holder. I despise the iron napkin holders because they can break if dropped, as mine did, and they also have that thing that keeps the napkins from flying, which is just annoying to have; I also despise the stand-up napkin holders because you pull one and they all come with. For our household, this was the ideal napkin holder. If something were to happen to it, which I doubt because it is so sturdy, I would recommend it and buy it again.

I was hoping that for the price of $25, this would perfectly fit a standard napkin. A standard napkin is 5 inches wide and 5 inches long. 75x5. The inside of this is about 6 degrees, despite the fact that the outside temperature is 75 degrees. It's 75 inches long, which means it's not tight on the sides and looks odd. It's of good quality, but it's made of a hard synthetic material that can scratch your table. The quality is disappointing for such a high-priced basket.

I had no idea it was handcrafted and part of a trading company until it was pointed out to me. That is wonderful. Fits standard napkins of the same size. I def. If you want a basket-style napkin holder, this is the one to get. It's a cute little thing.
