I don't believe stirring hot wax would harm the spoon, but cleaning it would be difficult.

As advertised, this item cannot be washed in the dishwasher

I purchased the black spoon set and have been using it for a few weeks now. I'd been hand-washing them after each use, but I figured I'd throw them in the dishwasher just in case. I washed them in a normal wash cycle on the top rack. One of the spoons is losing a film, which I assume is the polish, as you can see in the photo. I'm afraid to wash them again in case the other one gets ruined. Overall, I like these spoons, but I don't think they're dishwasher-safe.

I suppose it's a case of minor/minor issues? It arrived in good condition, and I didn't have any problems with the spoons at first

However, they are not 12 inches as advertised, but rather closer to 11 inches. Because my cups are so tall, this really stands out to me. the one that has gone missing The spoon does not feel like it is made of stainless steel, at least not in comparison to other spoons I have, and I'm not sure if this is due to a finish I'm not used to or something else. br>In general, I'm not a big fan. It didn't take my breath away. Although it functions as a stirring spoon, I do not believe it lives up to its claims.
