This spoon is adequate for the price, and as another reviewer noted, the spoon end appears to have been formed in tandem with the shaft, implying that there is only one weld at the head end, which I believe is a good thing. However, the finish is inconsistent from the shaft to the spoon bowl, in my opinion. The shaft is well polished and very shiny, but the spoon is dull in appearance, as if it had never been polished, and the edges are not polished at all, making it feel a little sharp. W has given me a new spoon. S, which I received as a gift, and I purchased this spoon to take to work in case it was misplaced or damaged. The letter W The finish on the S spoon is much nicer, and it is polished without any sharp edges. It is true that it is a few dollars more expensive, but I almost wish I had just bought another one at the local store to take to work.
The metal is of good quality, and it feels good in the hand. It's also long enough to reach the bottom of larger mixing glasses or pitchers. br>br>The spoon holds about 1/8 oz of liquid, which is useful when you only need a smidgeon and 1/4 oz from other spoons is a little too much. br>br>The only thing that would make this a five-star product would be if there was either plastic or rubber at the very bottom of the handle end to help prevent scratching or chipping of the mixing glass's bottom. These spoons do exist, but the ones I've come across are prohibitively expensive. Apart from that, it's a very nice place to visit.
I have to say, the spoon is quite effective. It thoroughly blends the liquid, far better than any traditional spoon. It would be nice if it wasn't entirely made of metal, because it's almost perfect for glass pitchers, except for the scraping. If you make a lot of drinks, it's still worth picking up! br>br>However, the spoon appears to be prone to bending, as mine arrived in a state that was not at all advertised, but I was able to easily repair it.
I needed a spoon long enough to reach the bottom of my travel mug and stir my morning coffee with it. Other drinks, such as instant iced tea, are served in the same cup. This item satisfies that need without a doubt. As an added bonus, leaving it in the cup allows the heat to dissipate more quickly, allowing the coffee to be consumed sooner. This travel spoon comes highly recommended by me.
I was crossing my fingers that it would fit in my husband's coffee maker. I know it's not designed for that, but we have an old cocktail stir with a larger spoon that works perfectly for that. We haven't been able to locate a suitable replacement for our cabin. Boo- hoo. However, for the purpose for which it was created, it would be ideal; it's well-designed. The product is well-made, and the cost is reasonable. Anyone know where I might find one similar to this with a larger spoon for measuring coffee?.
A few flaws can be found in the teardrop on the tip. The welding on it appears to be a little shoddy, but aside from that, it's a fantastic spoon. The price is excellent, and it arrived without any kinks or breaks. Wrapped in plastic wrap and working perfectly; worth the price, but the flaws are a little annoying.
Spoon, you are so lovely! br>br>After failing to locate my old bar spoon, I turned to Amazon for a replacement. I chose this little number after reading reviews for each and every one they carry (as you should). And I couldn't be happier with the results. It has a nice weight to it, appears to be of good quality, and it also stirs drinks like a sumbitch! Isn't it past time you got rid of that obnoxious red knob and replaced it with something more sophisticated?.
The spoons are the specified length and appear to be of good quality. It's easy to stir with them because the curling is tight. These will suffice if you require bar spoons.
