The paper works the best by far for storing hamburgers made from fresh ground meat. I have tried many ways to store meat, and this is by far the easiest way. When frozen, they separate easily as a result of their thickness, they've frozen well, and they've frozen well. They have also been used for ground sausage patties, and I am going to use them for chicken next so I can figure out the amount. The product is top notch.
As I was serving the patties to friends for my husband's birthday, I was a little embarrassed when I couldn't separate the patties. I had to spend 20 minutes prying them apart with my brother in law.
According to what I understand, they do not have wax on them, and they make your patties into a frozen lump when you refreeze them. It is lucky that I only combine two when I freeze them in a gallon size ziplock bag or I would have made a In addition, cooking two at a time means I have to store one for later because it is impossible to cook one at a time when they are stuck together this tightly.
It was easy to wrap caramels with these!.
There are a number of non-standard A roll of stick wax papers comes in handy. It's a great thing to use for cheese, although they're primarily advertised for hamburgers and other meats. I use these to protect the cheese in the sandwich bags I use from drying out because they are bigger than the cheese slices. Furthermore, they make it easier for me to pull out only the number of slices I need as each slice of cheese is separated by a piece of paper.
The ONLY problem I have (which is not a defect, just this tip) is that the buns stick together once they have frozen unless you use a waxed paper towel on both sides before stacking. If you are going to use the paper straight out of the freezer, peel it off slowly as the paper tears. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

them because they are such a good fit for my kitchen scale, where I weigh foods. There does not seem to be much wax on the paper, which is rather disappointing. The product was definitely not "wax paper" as I knew it, but is still functional for many uses.
