Questions & Answers

Would it be better to get 18" or 24" of wrapping paper for a ?

It's a large piece of meat since I got the 24 inch Brisket

How is this bundled? Is there a dispenser included? Is it shipped in a loose roll?

It is loosely rolled. Those who use Amazon a lot should have a look at their horizontal dispensers. Fortunately, I have wrapped it so it is easy to cut without having to unwrap it.

In the description, it says 24 inches x 200 feet, but in the total inches it says 2400 In what dimensions does the object actually measure?

My apologies for the delayed response. The description of this product contains an error. Regarding this point, thank you for pointing it out.

What size waist do you prefer, 18 inches or 24 inches?

It is listed here for 24" rolls, but we do sell 18" and 24" rolls.

Passing the "Stall" is good
5/5

In all my years of smoking meat, I've mostly just done no wrap and foil only occasionally. In 225°F oven, I placed a 20 lb brisket, at which point after 11 hours the internal temperature was 165°F. Wrapping the meat in three layers of this paper allowed it to reach 195 degrees within 2 hours. Hopefully, it did not dry out during that time. There were no signs of drying out of the Brisket, and folks thought it was the best Brisket they had ever tasted. A great finish can be achieved with this paper.

You should not buy this product! Not a peach at all! There are discrepancies between what was described and what was delivered

It is essential to have a smoker to cook In the past, when I had enough smoke to wrap beef brisket in this paper but needed to continue cooking, I had wrapped it in this paper
5/5

I found the sheet to be top-quality butcher's paper and it did its job perfectly. Due to the fact that the coating is not on the paper, I was not concerned about it creating a bad taste. If you are cooking low and slow with smoke, this is a must.

I could not believe what a difference this made
5/5

We took it all the way to 210 degrees internal, then let it test for 3 hours. There was tons of juice inside, and the meat became a mess when cut. It was still really warm inside, and it melted apart when I cut it.

I really like this butcher paper! The butcher paper on my smoker, has become my favorite way to wrap meat when I need it! The paper does a surprising good job at holding in juices because you use lower heat when smoking
5/5

I would say that it holds juices as well Affects meat's taste but does not change it. The size of this roll of paper is really big, and for an active weekend smoker like me, it is certain that this will last me a year with no problem.

I used it to make brisket, and it worked perfectly
5/5

I know there is a lot of paper here, but I'll still be able to use it in the future, since there's plenty left over. My brisket was smoked for over 14 hours on it without any problems. As far as we were concerned, it was very useful.

I really liked it! It was a little unnerving at first because we had to add 1 cup of broth to our brisket and then let it sit for a few minutes before we put it back on the grill
5/5

Trying to fold it to keep the liquid in was a bit awkward, but over all, I was able to do it. This was a nice substitute to foil, and we were very satisfied with it.

The butcher paper I have so far used for wrapping my wife's birthday gift and as a tablecloth for a crawfish boil worked great, since we just sucked everything up and tossed it in the trash when the boil was done
5/5

We haven't had time to use it for bbq and smoking yet, but we plan to try it on a brisket soon. It is definitely a product I recommend.
