These just came in, so I'm posting them now. We're dealing with false advertising here. There are two pictures of the original zen mineral rocks, one in a plastic container and one in an open cup. I believe the pictures tell the whole It's twice as big, you can't open it to clean or boil the rocks, and the rocks are so small and crumbling that they're falling apart (see how rock bits are disappearing from the Zen is not original to the practice. The filter in question is not one of Zen's originals. It was obvious by looking at it, but I thought I would test it. You just have to soak it for 30 minutes in cold water. As the stones absorb water, the stone will become softer. Once that's done, put the recipient on and wash it in running water.
