Drop the reason for only giving it a 4 star rating. I bought this item for my son and daughter and they are very happy with It was my hope that the results would be the same. In our city's water, there is a lot of TDS, and I wanted the TDS to be lower than what the fridge filters are capable of. Due to the different filters used in the two refrigerators (which I buy through Amazon), our TDS levels are 254 out of the faucet, 190 on the GE fridge, and 100 on the Maytag fridge. Using the Zero Water TDS indicator (which is the best filter ever, if only they developed a whole house system) is a wonderful experience. As a result, the TDS rate increased, to 296 more than can be found coming out of a faucet. As a gift for my son, I gave this book to him There is nothing more satisfying to him than law. Adding it to the water made a real difference and gave the water a better taste & flavor. In order to reduce the amount of TDS she is consuming, we try to limit her intake of the supplement. This is a great product, but it gets a 4 star rating due to the lack of TDS drop, or it would have gotten a 5.

In my built in rental unit's under cabinet, I suspected that something was leaking into the pipes. I bought this produce to test it out. I like the way the water comes out so As far as the built-in unit is concerned, I think I was right. I find this a well constructed product, it applies easily and securely in just a few seconds. Unlike most switch mechanisms, this one can be easily cleaned. It is constructed of stainless steel and feels extremely well made. I might as well point out that the spicket tilts down so that you can quickly remove and replace the filter with the wrench that comes with it. Among other things, the cylinder has a spring loaded top that keeps it in place. Changing the GE system under my counter was a lot easier than changing the one built into it.

According to the instructions that come with this, there is an adapter included. That's not the case. The valve is a male threaded diverter valve that will fit into only the same size of faucet. It also states that if the valve will not fit, then a universal faucet adapter kit will need to be purchased. My reply is yes. Many of the adapters would work with my sink, but none of the adapters would work with my filter valve. This diverter valve looks out of the ordinary in terms of size. The tap should fit some faucet, but I'm unaware of which one, since it would need to be a FEMALE (inside threaded) faucet of at least 1 inch. In two emails, I wrote to the company, but they did not reply. My request was even to know the exact size of the valve so that I could get the perfect adapter. The question was not answered. In my opinion, you should not buy this product since the company is not customer-focused and because you are gambling with whether or not it fits I have already stated that the diverter is approximately one inch in diameter. As it can be somewhat difficult to measure accurately with a ruler, it is just a guess.

However, I have read other reviews that claim this product did not clean the water well of heavy materials. There have been other products that produce the same results, but that need to be changed more frequently. These products filter out impurities in three stages. I did not find bottled water to be any better than tap water. It was expensive, hard to use, and no better tasting. I hope nothing more with this product than to move anything above it. The micron is 5 nm. It has a standard water pressure in my home. We have not heard or felt any noise.

I heard that my daughter and her sister in Mexico told me that the hookup was simple. There are concerns that the water might contain bacteria/ cysts/ Giardiasis, etc. One very good thing about the price was the fact that they wanted bottled water. My next step was to give them a water test kit. According to them, results will be available in two days. Since I have not yet been able to verify whether this unit filters out viruses or bacteria yet, I can not comment. there will be no five-star rating until the results have been released.

0 out of 5 stars Well-constructed and high quality product. I am very pleased with the product. In terms of water filtration, it seems to do a good job. The installation is easy and does not require any tools. Once the adapter was removed from it, it fit my faucet perfectly. It comes with an adapter screwed into the diverter valve. Changing the filter is also easy with the plastic tool that comes with the unit. This book is highly recommended.

I have a well at my daughter's house, so my dog drinks a lot of water there. In the end, he barely touches his water once he gets back home. There is no way I can eat my sauerkraut! What the heck? The filter has been received, and everything is fine Since then, my dog has been drinking like a dog should, and I am free to eat anything I want. It's just that I want to make sure I can get replacement filters when I need them.

There seems to be a correlation between water pressure and the condition. It appears that the water that comes out of the faucet is milky if I turn it all the way on. I am able to get much cleaner water by turning the water down to a trickle. On the whole, it appears to me that this doesn't filter anything. In conclusion, it's overpriced and overrated.
