What if I want to install it on a stucco wall? Can the kit I received be used to do that?

You may be able to use this if there are studs or wood underneath the stucco. As part of the kit are four lag bolts and flat washers for attaching to studs (or other structures).

Is there one strap around the top and bottom of each or do they come with two? Must I buy two of these?

According to the description, there are four As far as placing upper and lower straps is concerned, I did.

Is it possible to strap down a rain barrel using straps? How long is the strap in total (2 of them) or how long total is it?

It's 38" tall for each of them, I think. This is my attempt at helping

The bolts and screws supplied with the straps can be used to secure them to masonry?

Yes, I do not believe you can, you would need masonry toggles and bolts for that.

what it is supposed to do

In particular, I was able to install this on a lowboy water heater, which I was afraid would be too bulky. Additionally, it was installed on a corner, which meant I had to cut the strap down a lot so that it ended up on the last notch, but it worked fine and only took a few minutes to cut. The one strap I installed was not the other one There is no room for another strap on a lowboy. In the middle, the drain is on the bottom, the elements are back to back. There are only a few options for installation, but given those are the only options, it's better than nothing.

A good product that worked well for a 50 gallon You can adjust how big or small the cage is to suit your needs

There is no need for drilling into wood studs since it comes with all the hardware.

The straps were easy to attach around my tank, and I liked the way they fit. There are two straps on this tank. It meets CA safety rules.

I hate straightening

Located in a closet, I have a 50 gallon water heater. In order for the straps to go around the tank and into the wall, they are plenty long. The fact that the straps can be disconnected in the front and reused for replacement of the hot water heater is appealing to me.

Easy to install and at a good price. Even so, I have noticed most houses do not have these straps installed, except when they are selling or refinancing.
