My opinion is that it isn't. 10 inches is the perfect size for a DuPont filter. My impression is that these are not compatible with your 3M whole house filter, but I am not certain what the dimensions are.

As a result, our county's drainage system doesn't have an overhaul and has tons of rust and sediment that it has to be flushed out every few years A regular basis. There is nothing this thing will not grab. You find that it has rapidly turned a shocking shade of red by the time you pull it off. As a result, this filter is about twice as long lasting as a standard one, and the water is consistently softer and better flavored the whole time it is running. After a hot shower, I feel a whole lot better.

Iron is overflowing from my water, so it is really dirty. Change out my filters every three months at first, but I have been extending the change out timeframe. There have been two runs of 4 months each, and I am still enjoying My decision is now to move up the deadline Clean water tastes great, but even better is the fact that it is tastier.

It has been my go-to filter whenever I need to buy new filters and I am able to get it. It has been necessary to use other filters from time to time when this item is not available, but I will always use this one when it is.

As for the size, it was right, which is not what I got the last time I ordered and received a pack of two small ones that were then replaced with three 2-inch ones. You can get little packs of them! We can't return to them at this point since they're too troublesome.
