It doesn't have a good grip

Soft wood, such as western red cedar, makes these staples easy to remove. This could be the case with all 1/4" staples. In terms of soft woods, I've never worked with any other brands. It would also be ideal if these could be purchased in smaller quantities. Although the cost is reasonable, I will never use all 5000 staples.
