I am a woman who performs the majority of the household repairs. My old staple gun has been a very useful tool in my collection for many years. When the box of Arrow staples ran out, I went to the local hardware store and bought a generic, inexpensive replacement box. Oh, my goodness, what a blunder. After trying them out and seeing how flimsy they were, I returned them. This brand was unavailable in town, but Amazon, of course, had them! That made me laugh because I had a $1 in my old box. It still has the number 29 label on it. I'm left wondering how long ago I bought the old box, given how much more this new box cost! The genuine part may be a little more expensive, but there is no substitute for quality in most cases.
At the local hardware store, a pack of these will set you back around $3. This is a 5-pack, according to the label. I placed an order for qty 2 with the intention of purchasing 10 1/4" packages. I got one 1/4" package and one 5/16" package that had already been opened. Two packages are only $24! Here, there are two staples per staple. They aren't made of stainless steel, by the way.
These are fine; I thought I was getting a'really' good deal (for 5) or a decent deal (for one) when I added them to my cart. In reality, the listed price is per 'each,' with a minimum of five (5) - This is still a good deal, but it's a bit of a shock; also, a pack of (5) is probably a little excessive for what I use them for. It was entirely my fault. It's not something you should do on your own.
This is the size that I prefer for stretching canvases. It's more difficult to use and remove longer staples. I've been using these staples for more than two decades. Arrow's standard gun style has recently shifted from red to a more clunky silver. These appear to get clogged more frequently. I'm not sure if the issue is with the staple gun or with the staples, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five.
I placed an order for a box of! /4" JT- There are 21 staples in total. Today, I received a box of 3/8" staples in a timely manner (first star). These are not returnable, according to Amazon. I suppose I can make do with them (hence the second star), but 1/4" is what I really need. I recently purchased a box of 3/8" staples to replace another (non-replaceable) staple box. I purchased a returnable) box from Amazon. They wouldn't feed in my Arrow stapler, despite the fact that they were the correct part number. Purchasing a used car has been easier for me.
They're a must-have. I'm at a loss for words. These are suitable for holding a small bundle of papers together. Something stronger might be required if you want to attach an ottoman to the ceiling or something.
They're sharp and pointed, made of gleaming metal, and they fit perfectly in my staple gun. TWACK - every time I pull the trigger. They take off and ensnare themselves in whatever I'm trying to affix. (Just make sure the staple gun isn't pointed at your finger or face!) ) They come in a handy cardboard box that is easy to open and close, ensuring that your extra staples don't fly around. Also, the color is very nice. I'm referring to the cardboard box. I tried to think of other uses for these staples, but they're very specific. When it comes to attaching things to other things, nothing beats the. I'm glad I bought them, and when I'm done with them in a few years, I'll be sure to buy more in the same style. I believe there is no reason to tamper with success. That is, in fact, my motto most of the time. But don't mistake me for someone who is rigid and inflexible. I'll pay attention if someone shows me a more efficient way to do something. All I have to do now is be persuaded that what they're proposing is, in fact, superior. When it comes to staples, you'd have to show me something truly groundbreaking to convince me to abandon this brand and style. I suppose I could go with something a little longer than a quarter inch - 3/8" is a possibility. But that'd be the maximum amount of time I'd ever require. I'm aware that 1/2" and possibly 3/4" staples are available, but I don't have anything that requires such a long staple. However, for the sake of writing a thorough review, I think I should give them a shot. What are your thoughts on the subject? Do you want me to take care of it and contact you? Anyway, I am 100% satisfied with these Arrow staples and went as far as to count them to make sure that when they say they are selling you 1000, they truly are selling you% Let me tell you something. The number of items in the box was exactly that. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about when it comes to quality assurance. Arrow, I appreciate your assistance.
