Questions & Answers
A total of 4' of each is included in the package.
Yes, it will fit, but you'll have to use a lot more hot air to shrink it down to 1/0 awg wire.
I just double-checked it, and the 3/4" tubing is plenty big enough for 2/0 awg crimp terminals.
It is extremely useful. It's as simple as that. Simply bake it over an open fire.

This was purchased to complete the ends of some battery cables that I'm working on. The un- The shrunk tubing dwarfs the 4AWG cables and lugs I'm using, which made me think I'd bought the wrong size, but it shrank right down and did exactly what it was supposed to do when heated. There appears to be a lot of adhesive inside as well. Pictured: the final product, a fully functional cable The tube as it comes out of the bag, with a shrunken sample. br>br>However, if you try to shrink the red tubing with a torch, it discolors quickly. If you use a heat gun, it won't be an issue.
After a few weeks, I had a small installation that required a 10awg power/grnd cable. was there any of this left? I didn't have any shrink in this size, so I figured I'd give it a shot despite the lack of enthusiasm. yep! I was astounded! Would i buy this for 10awg no but in a hurry 100% YES!.
This is an odd shrink wrap review. I've been using marine grade adhesive lined shrink for a long time. This company appears to use the least amount of adhesive possible. I initially mistook the shrink wrap for regular heat shrink because it lacked the stiffness and thickness of standard marine heat shrink. br>br>I had to use it to see if there was any adhesive in the first place. In practice, there was very little adhesive overflow. They appear to have discovered a way to significantly reduce the amount of adhesive used in shrink wrap. This is not a trend I want to see because it will encourage other manufacturers to follow suit in order to save money. Is it possible to label this product as marine-grade? or a light that is suitable for marine use.
Hello,br>br>I use my electrical equipment to install 12v wires and accessories on my UTV and other applications on a regular basis. I'll use wire and connectors that are 12 or 14 gauge, typically butt connectors. I always run out of the specific size heat shrink that fits over the blue or red butt connectors, so I wanted to order a single package of that size rather than a variety pack with many small sizes that I don't need. I pushed my other shrink tube flat to see what size it was, and it was just under 1/2 inch in diameter. As a result, I placed an order for 3/8ths. This package appears and appears to be much larger. br>br> I measured the ends of this tubing after pushing it flat again and found that it is OVER 1/2 inch, more like 5/8ths, and I believe it will be too large for my application. If I cut a piece off and test it, I won't be able to return it if it's too big. However, because this is the smallest size available, I will be unable to request that they send me the next smaller size. br>br>Seller, please respond and assist me with your recommendation. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude.
Brad.
This product's quality and performance are satisfactory. The only flaw is the way it was packaged, which resulted in significant crimping of the edges due to the material's sharp bending. While it may be argued that the creasing has no effect on the product's performance, it does cause discoloration in the affected areas and makes it more difficult to handle or use. A simple spiral winding scheme rather than a flattened pattern would have easily avoided this situation. It's just basic logic.
These do, in fact, have the glue inside, as they claim. Did a fantastic job of securing the new ground wire I installed on my old truck. br>There's a lot in the bag, enough to handle a variety of tasks. To get that factor sealed look, make sure to use a heat gun. I'd recommend it!.
The heat shrink tube was shipped and arrived on time. br>It was well-packaged and there was no damage or melted shrink tube. br>I use heat shrink tubing a lot, and this tubing is fantastic. It has an incredible shrink rate and can be used with much smaller wire. br>Shrinks well and seals as it should. br>I'll be ordering more of this 3 to 1 heat shrink in the future.
I really like this stuff; I primarily use it to make audio cables, and it works great. This is also the point at which the problem arises. Because the heatshrink on these cables is exposed, I prefer square cuts; the black heat shrink in my package was ideal and lays flat almost perfectly. The red one, on the other hand, looks like it's been through hell; there isn't a single section of it that isn't crumpled up, making getting nice cuts difficult, which is unfortunate; guess it'll be back to NTE heat shrink for now.
