Questions & Answers

For this, I'm trying to find the cheapest heat gun I can. How many watts will it require to shrink completely?

I agree. If you use a lighter frequently, it's a good idea to bring one with you. Small butane torches, on the other hand, are not worth the money. It takes longer to light a lighter than it does to light a candle. and, as a previous commenter stated, It's possible to overheat it. Using a heat gun isn't an option. When is it going to happen? 15- The dollar may be less expensive. Is It Worth It It It It If you're going to use a heat gun, make sure it's the right one. Stop after it has shrunk as much as it can. If this is the same stuff I use, it's a match made in heaven. A small amount of glue will begin to leak. If the fit isn't quite right. You'll need a heat shrink that's a little bit smaller. or, as I've discovered, I'm not alone in this. As an example, consider connecting two wires to a single one. and it should be a little more snug. I'm going to put on my gloves. that area should be heated up It's not going to be burned! then pinch the area that's a little loose. I like the idea of using a blow dryer. The only difference is that they consume significantly more electricity. OK, it's a small project. BUT, WHAT ABOUT THE VALUE FOR MONEY? A HEAT GUN is a weapon that is used to generate high temperatures.

Is it rated for what voltage?

Hello, according to the manufacturer, it can withstand 600 volts. I hope this information is useful.

Is there a temperature range for continuous operation?

Hello there, our Heat Shrink's constant operating temperature is - temperatures ranging from 40 to 120 degrees Celsius

Unfit for human consumption
3/5

Make sure you don't throw your money away. It should have been a 0 out of 5 star rating. Only the first couple inches were usable after manipulating it apart with a knife and screwdriver due to the packaging being so tightly packed that the adhesive had already seized itself. Of course, I didn't realize this until I needed a couple of feet of 3/4" shrink tubing for a submersible pump refurb. It's completely useless. two tiny voids at the edges of a tight little roll So, because I ordered this "premium" product to replenish my 3/4" stock of shrink, I had to weave four layers of black gorilla tape on this splice. That was a huge blunder. I give it a zero.

Awesome! Excellent value for money I ordered the 25' roll after becoming frustrated with kits that only included a couple of 3" tubes of 1/2" shrink tubing
5/5

I enjoy being able to cut the lengths that are required. If you want to save money, you should try to cut down on your waste. That's a big IF, because if there's anything I don't like about it, it's minor. There is no need to mention it. I will DEFINITELY order more rolls from this seller in a variety of sizes. If you're looking for marine-grade shrink tubing, this is the one to get. It shrank to the perfect size. should make it easier for me to maintain the aesthetics of my LED installations Free of moisture. br>The only thing that bothers me is Amazon. the codes they use For specific products (like shrink tubing), I'd rather stick with a few sellers. I'll be able to contact them directly for a resupply in this manner. EXCLUSIVELY deal with them. However, in order to stay with these sellers, I'll only order from my previously ordered list.

The color and assortment selection was good for advertising, but not so much for the actual product. If you look at the general size swordfish that's being advertised for a 3 to 1 ratio, the smallest piece I should've gotten would've been about a quarter ranch, but I have 266 pieces of stuff that I could probably use for 30 awg terminals if I was in the telecommunications business. Add to that, where is the glue? I tried 13 times to sit there and see if any sealant came out of anything, and it was at best mediocre.

The walls are thick
5/5

I covered my arc welding cable leads with the 3/4" dual wall material, which had worn and cracked insulation. Because the material was tightly coiled, it was flat and stuck together in places, making it impossible to push the welding cable through. I tried using wire fish tape, but it was too flexible to work with. I then took a piece of 3/8" rebar that I had on hand and tapered one end before slowly pushing it through the wrap and squeezing it to unflatten it. The arc welder wire was then taped to the rebar, and the wire was pulled back through. When heated with a heat gun, it shrank down to a tight fit around the wire and ends. It worked perfectly and should extend the life of my arc welder wire by another 50 years.

Heat-resistant clothing designed for professionals tube that shrinks They've added glue to the tube so that when you shrink it onto a cable (for example), it fits perfectly
5/5

The item is packaged in a nice box with the various sizes clearly labeled. The tubes are 90mm long (3. 25 inches) and have a diameter of 3. 25 inches. I was able to use one tube for two fittings because of the length of the tube (54 inches). I used it with my RG 8x cable, which had a PL259 connector and a UG176 adapter.

I'm glad I went with number three: 1 ratio! The product is excellent
5/5

It is exactly as described, and I received it in the promised time frame. In addition, the vendor sent a follow-up message to ensure that everything was working properly, which was an unexpected but appreciated gesture. That's what we call excellent customer service! So here is my take on the situation. br>br>To apply well, you must practice a little. Starting at one end and working my way to the other, or starting in the middle, worked best for me. On my first attempt, I simply tried to apply heat evenly, and the ends closed faster than the middle, resulting in a small amount of air trapped in the middle. So just follow the advice!br>br>After a few tests, this is working perfectly! Love it! I've already rescued a few iphone charging cables and a $30 30pin to lighting converter. br>br>My only wish is that the box came with more of the sizes I need; it has dozens of the smaller diameters that I may never use, and only a few of the mid sizes that I really need.

Great
5/5

Everything was as expected, and the product is of excellent quality, and it was delivered on time and in good condition. Thank you so much, Seller! br>Unfortunately, Amazon has joined the ranks of "Giant Tech" in Cancel Culture (or call-back culture). Conservative Americans are being pushed out of social and professional circles in a modern form of ostracism known as "out culture" - either through social media, in person, or both As a result, I will no longer use Amazon to purchase or receive products. The corporation is an embarrassment to American ideals!.
