12 gauge is about 1/8" in size. The Windy Nation has a two-to-one ratio. 1 ratio for shrinkage, so 3/16" heat shrink tubing would be ideal, and yes, I did go to the garage and measure and apply the tubing to 12 gauge wire just to make sure I was on the right track.
Although I believe it would work, your wire should still be rated for outdoor use. I don't think the heat shrink is meant to be used outside. To inquire about this, you would need to contact the vendor.
The thickness of our walls is zero. Before shrinking, the tube was 022" in diameter, and we've never had a problem with the tube splitting.

Please note the following disclaimer: I haven't put this tubing through its paces yet, but I wanted to post some photos to show how I received it. I was concerned because kinked and twisted tubing had been reported by some users. Bad run? Maybe the manufacturer's quality control process(es) was/were improved? I'm not sure, but if I run into any problems while using it, I'll be sure to update my rating.
Only 5 of the diameter reduces 30%. It doesn t shrink to 50% of diameter at 50% of diameter at 50% of diameter at 50% The diameter shrinks to 70% of the original diameter. I was thinking this would be the same as it is built in CHINA because the ones in Harbor Freight shrank a lot more. Living and learning is a good thing.
It works fine and is well worth the money, but the wall is extremely thick. I'm not sure if it's to meet some sort of standard or what, but it's a lot stiffer than what I wanted. I've noticed this on several other Chinese-made shrink tubes I've purchased, so it could be a European specification or simply a cost-cutting measure. I'm not sure if it works, but it appears to.
This is an incredible offer. LED strips fit perfectly. It glides over anything that isn't solid. Strips that are resistant to water Over the age of 5, this item will not fit. 5mm connectors are used. Once shrunk, it doesn't appear to be heavy or hard, but it appears to do the job well.
It'll take you a long time to get there. I've been using this heat shrink for almost a year now to install custom central tire inflation systems on a variety of heavy equipment and have had no problems. br>It makes my job a lot easier with this stuff. And, most importantly, the cost is reasonable.
It won't fit over a grip, but if you're reshafting or re-shafting, it'll do the trick. This is the perfect product if you want to change your shafts to matte black and don't want any logos or markings on them. It's also very easy to shrink with a heat gun. Highly. This product is something I would recommend to others.
To make a small x-ray machine, use an insulated wire pair. The most difficult part was getting the inner wire to fit through the sleeve long enough to be successful. It has a nice appearance and shrinks in a consistent manner. It was only about 10 feet that was required. What are your plans for the final 90 feet?.
