How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Please double-check that you're measuring the heat shrink tubing inner diameter correctly by looking at image 2 in the photo gallery. This guarantees that you'll get the right size!
Heat shrink tubing with a 3 to 1 shrink ratio made of heavy duty dual (double) wall polyolefin adhesive/glue lined polyolefin adhesive/glue lined polyolefin adhesive/glue lined polyolefin adhesive/glue lined polyolefin adhesive THERE WILL BE NO PRINTING ON THE TUBES.
Zero halogen (polyolefin crosslinking), -45 to 125 degrees Celsius operating temperature, 600 volts rated, ROHS and REACH compliant, 120 degrees Celsius shrink temperature
Heat activated adhesive adheres to nearly any substrate, including metals, plastics, composites, wood, and others, and provides a water resistant barrier (tested using ASTM D570 at less than 0. 002 ingress of water)
Many solvents, including salt water, gasoline, diesel, grease/lubricants, and others, are resistant to this material, making it ideal for marine environments and areas where solvents and fuels are used.

Questions & Answers

What gauge wire should I use for six 18awg wires?

18 AWG is a common gauge. 04" in circumference They'd all be 0 if there were six of them. 3/8" tubing would be the best choice for a length of 25".

What size fiberglass rod should I use if it's 3/4 inch?

1 inch

What is the size of two (2) 12 gauge 12 awg pv solar panel extension cables from Windynation?

Both 1/2" and 3/4" will suffice.

I have some white Apple USB lightning cables that I'd like to cover in order to make them black. I'm not sure what size to go with. ?

When it's all said and done, 3/16 would probably be the best fit and look.

Great
5/5

Everything was as expected, and the product is of excellent quality, and it was delivered on time and in good condition. Thank you so much, Seller! br>Unfortunately, Amazon has joined the ranks of "Giant Tech" in Cancel Culture (or call-back culture). Conservative Americans are being pushed out of social and professional circles in a modern form of ostracism known as "out culture" - either through social media, in person, or both As a result, I will no longer use Amazon to purchase or receive products. The corporation is an embarrassment to American ideals!.

It reminds me of some of the people I've met - kinky, tangled up in itself, and difficult to deal with When it arrived, it was wrapped in plastic wrap and "rolled" into a triangle
3/5

It was completely kinked up every couple of inches, and I had to pinch out all of the kinks where the glue had sealed the tubing shut for 30 minutes. I blew compressed air through it after opening all the kinks and wrapped it loosely around a bar in my garage in the hopes that it would regain a smooth tubular shape to go on the 3 foot wires I want to cover. Let's see how things turn out. This could have been avoided if it had been properly packaged and rolled for transportation. I'm not sure how it works yet, but the effort put in to make it usable earns it one star. I'm glad I didn't unroll it - It would be returned to me!.

It's great and does exactly what it says on the tin! It's a breeze to work with this person
5/5

It shrinks to nearly a third of its original size. I'd like it to shrink just a smidgeon more. It is, however, beneficial. I actually used this to cover some shoddy shower curtain hooks that were advertised as rust-proof but started rusting as soon as they were installed. They were nearly rusted out after four months. So I cleaned them up as much as I could and covered and sealed them with this. It doesn't slide as easily as bare metal, but it's a million times better than the rusted hooks I had before, and it's no longer discoloring my shower curtain rod or the curtain itself. If I get around to taking photos, I'll post them here.

I've never used a better shrink tube
5/5

This is fantastic. It's something I wish I'd discovered earlier. It's really thick, and once it shrinks, it's solid and won't stretch or open up again. They sell a variety of sizes, which I've purchased. They should make a variety pack, in my opinion. The only other thing I've noticed is that the adhesion on the inside can cause it to stick together at times. When you go to use it, you must pry it apart, which can take some time depending on the size of the piece you cut. I've found that twisting a flathead screwdriver into a big lug connector for battery power/ground wire works best.

Heat-shrink tubing that is more effective
5/5

Following the use of 20 feet of less expensive heat shrink tubing, 1. I decided to try this product because it came in a neat continuous roll with no kinks and I could insulate wire solder joints 5 inches at a time. Because it is thicker, it is less susceptible to nicks, sharp wires, or solder points poking through. It also has a layer of glue inside to protect the wire from corrosion caused by moisture. It should be perfect for wire joints that are constantly exposed to the elements.

Get 3: 1 over 2: I expected it to be larger and thicker than it was
5/5

It easily shrank down to 16 gauge despite being quite loose. It appears to have a glue in the center, which helps it to stay put. Obtain the following three: 1 shrink, because the extra expense is justified.

Both 3/8 and 1/4 items were in short supply
3/5

It's a good product, but I only got 18 out of it. 20' x 5' x 5' x 5' x 5' x 5' x 5 There were kinks in the fabric because it had been bundled in bags. It is advertised as rolled, which makes it more convenient to use. I would buy from this seller again, but the seller should pay more attention to the measurements.

Packaging is an issue for me
3/5

As others have mentioned, untangling and making it straight enough to use was a disaster. Every three - there were kinks in it. 4 inches. It was twisted and rolled up, and it didn't look anything like the advertisement picture.
