The rope I intend to use is 5/8" in diameter. Can you tell me if this is the correct ?

Using heatshrink tubing, it will shrink to about half of its original diameter, so I think this would be an effective material. If you want to make sure that the rope is tight, you should apply heat evenly. Hope you have a good year!

Evidently in detail, probably no, it is rather like a surgical tube made of clear plastic. I think heatshrink retail stores could describe their product a bit better

Poor advertising, perfect product. This may just be me, but i liked to know before purchasing that this 3/4" measurement is the DIAMETER of a circle, not its width. Whether ID equals 0 or not is up to you. Unshrunk, 75" is 19mm (plain Using the 75**/2 equation, one is obtained. This means 178 millimeters or 30 millimeters)*Thickness The unshrunk diameter of the material is 4mm 1. It is fairly rigid and protective, which is ideal for protecting ESCs on a build featuring multiple rotors.

They were exactly what they were supposed to be. The clear tubes were used to keep an eye on the 16 custom battery cables I made for ensuring they were corrosion-free.

The item looks good, but it is rather expensive

I can't wait to cover my 18650 batteries with it. My intent was to identify what is underneath the shrink tube, so I ordered the clear. I will be able to protect my batteries with this.
