Questions & Answers

Doesn't it say how many pieces of each size you get, not just 27?

I have four large pieces, seven medium pieces, and fifteen small pieces, but I believe I only used one of them.

How long are the pieces and are they all the same length? Do you have multi-color kits available?

They're all the same size and length. If my memory serves me correctly, it was about 6 inches long. There are no colored kits available, and I'm not sure if there will be any in the future.

Are all of the 27-piece kit's pieces 6" in length?

No, they're only a couple of inches long.

Is it possible to shrink with a butane lighter if I keep the distance between the material and the lighter at a minimum?

Yes, but a lighter tip may cause your fingers to become too hot. Furthermore, heat may not be sufficient to effectively shrink the material. Using a propane torch is the best option.

It was used to shrink wrap the small ends of several lightning cables. The smaller 1/4" size was perfect for the job. To make the shrink wrap tighter, I wrapped the end where the original wire had frayed with yarn before putting it on. It was a cinch to use.
