HDMI Audio Return Channel Adapter: HDMI Audio Return Channel Adapter converts HDMI ARC audio from a TV to a sound bar, speaker, or amplifier. The HDMI ARC audio on your TV is converted to analog stereo L/R and 3. At the same time, there is a 5mm Aux output. HDMI ARC x 1; analog stereo L/ R 3; input HDMI ARC x 1; output HDMI ARC x 1; input HDMI ARC x 1; output HDMI ARC x 1 5mm jack. Before you buy, make sure your TV supports the ARC function. Also, the video from the television cannot be transmitted to other devices. If you don't hear anything, change the sound format of the signal source to PCM. (Please note that Dolby DTS isn't supported.)
Volume control synchronously (CEC function): This is a unique feature that distinguishes our products from those of competitors. The user can synchronize the sound from the TV and the speakers. When the TV volume is increased or decreased, the speaker volume increases or decreases in lockstep with the adjustment. From 0 to 100, the volume can be adjusted. ARC must be enabled on the connected HDMI port on your TV.
The DAC Converter can be used to convert audio from TV to L/R and 3. Analog stereo audio with a 5mm connector. Please note that while some televisions can automatically receive ARC sound when connected to an HDMI ARC port, others require entering the TV's setup menu to select ARC mode. Please make sure that the TV's audio output format is set to PCM, or else it will not work.
The last volume status was auto-stored. Sample rates as high as 32 kHz and as low as 44 kHz are available. 1 kHz, 48 kHz, 96 kHz, and 192 kHz are all examples of frequency ranges. (Please note that this is not an HDMI audio decoder and does not support 5.) 7 CH or 1 CH Please set your TV to PCM or LPCM audio out if using a 1 CH digital audio RAW format input, such as DTS/ Dolby-AC3/ DSD.
Power-off memory and amplifier function: It has a power-off resume function, which keeps the audio volume at the same level as it was before you turned off the system. It has a better sound volume output with the amplifier chipset built-in, so the user won't have to worry about no volume or too little volume when using headphones.

Will this device accept spdif as an input? My Korg keyboard uses a 1/4" standard phone plug to output spdif. ?
I'm not a techie by any stretch of the imagination. What I can tell you about mine is how I use it. I have the SPDIF plugged into my TV, which connects to the SPDIF on the DONGjain, and then my headphones are set to output. I use it to listen to music through my headphones while watching television. I needed the device to convert from SPDIF to SPDIF, and I use a regular cable to plug in headphones on the other side of the device because it lacks a phone jack.
I'm using this device to convert the audio from my optima projector's small headphone output to digital. There isn't any sound coming from it. ?
I returned it because it didn't work. I tried it on three different things and it didn't work. There are two televisions and an x-ray machine in the house. box.

My 2020 smart TV is connected to my 2001 Bose Lifestyle 12 and it works flawlessly. If your TV has an optical out, you can convert it to a coaxial for your Bose speakers. I just put $2000 in my savings account. The volume is controlled by the Bose, not the TV. Ensure that the audio on your TV is set to optical out.

The older flat screen TV had digital coax out, while the new surround sound system used toslink. This converter was exactly what I needed. If you need to go from toslink out to coax in, it will work in both directions. It is extremely simple to operate. It appears that there are two units in the picture, but there is only one with a switch that allows it to work in either direction.

I connected the device's optical output to the sound bar after connecting the coax output from my directv box to the device's coax input. On the television in our guest room, the sound bar performs admirably.

I can get digital audio from my Mac Pro using this product. The sound quality and depth have both improved noticeably. It's made of plastic rather than metal and works right away. Aside from that, it's well-made. Because certain specialty items are frequently discontinued if they are not sold, I will purchase a backup.
