This will work because the capacitance value is the same as the voltage value. I think the only issue is the diameter might be different from the original so the clamp holding it in place on my Trane is slightly too wide. Increase the diameter of the tube using duct tape. You do not need to ground the outer case with the metal clamp, but you could use a piece of wire hidden under tape to make the ground.
It will work fine because there is no fan motor to connect. Connecting the leads for Herm and C for the condenser motor will work as well.
Replaced with the MaxRun 60+5 MFD Capacitor, this is the right part. If you want to be sure the Maxrun 60+5 will fit the old capacitor, measure it and check it against the Maxrun 60+5. Approximately 2 3/8" in diameter by 4 1/3" in height, the MaxRun has been designed.
There is the MaxRun 45/5 MFD 370/440 V capacitor available from us. There is a short delay in the availability of this item

I found it to be the perfect replacement for my old Carrier air conditioner. It turned out that the fan motor on the outdoor condenser had a problem. With a stick, I could make it spin and so start it, but it would not start on its own. I found that to be a clear sign that the Start Capacitor was As you can see in the picture, there is an old capacitor. After replacing the old one, the new one fit perfectly, and the air conditioner now It is important not to replace a capacitor unless you are sure it will not store enough electricity to harm Make sure you know what you are doing before you take on this job.
An easy thing like a capacitor makes it hard to screw up. We are happy to have 5-star ratings I was wary of buying Chinese parts again since I had a one-year warranty. My wish would be that it lasts longer than the specified five years (last one lasted 25 years). Having a spare on hand next time the air conditioning goes out on a 107F day was the only reason I bought two. Thanks to Amazon, we had one in stock locally and could have it delivered within one day since our air conditioning failed on Friday. I am in a hurry (unlucky timing)
Installation was easy as pie (a piece of cake). That's pretty obvious. The capacitor itself was well labeled for the separate circuits and had enough prongs for extra wires to make it easy to install.
All men should know how to install a simple electrical part. A squeaky-clean product with a safe electrical connection. It is just a small size difference compared to the original. It took a small shim in the clamp to hold it firmly in place, but it was.
There is no power coming from the HVAC fan and compressor. The company repairing my home warranty can't come out for 5 days, so I called them. In Florida, it was impossible for me to stay five days without air conditioning! Google helped me find the capacitor I needed and I found a solution to the problem. I got the same day delivery, received it and realized when my AC stopped working 10 minutes after it was installed. The bracket that mounts it to your unit was the only part that was not a direct swap out. In order to make the bracket fit more snugly, I drilled a hole in it. In addition to a backup for next time, I also purchased a new capacitor!.
We viewed a YouTube video on replacing a capacitor (and we and we made sure we shorter 1) Pulled the fuse, removed the cover, took a picture of the way the wires were connected to the dead capacitor, then pulled them off and hooked them up to this without any problems. It took less than 30 minutes to complete the process. In the middle of the summer, it will be a spare one so I won't have to wait a day to receive it. By doing it myself, I saved $200.
The cheapest first thing to try when your AC compressor and fan don't work is to replace the motor. The product is easy to install. To repair the bad capacitor, all that is required is a screw clamp and a few wires, which are plugged into the socket after taking off the side panel. This job took me 15 minutes! Having another one as a spare is a good idea. I highly recommend this book! I had to wait for Amazon for a couple of days in the hot sun to receive my order.
I believe this to be a well built dual capacitor for my residential air conditioner. My original mounting hole did not fit the capacitor because it has a slightly smaller diameter than the original. As a result, I had to mount it horizontally and secure it with a scarf. I ran a separate ground (common) wire between the capacitor and ground to accomplish this.
A central air conditioning system in July in Louisiana is nothing like a central air conditioning system. Once I realized my unit was not turning on outside, I knew the local AC company with the many red trucks would not take advantage of me The last time I had to change a capacitor, they charged me over $200. I was able to order this item for a much more affordable price and it fixed my A/C in under five minutes. The company I work for has a problem with power shutting off during thunder and coming back on again just for thunder. I plan to order two more as backups. I am so happy with my.
I made a mistake by purchasing this product, which is probably exceptional, but it did not fit my application. The return process on Amazon is the thing I would like to complain about. The UPS store closest to me is 30 miles away, so I used to be able to print a label and drop it in the mailroom at work. As a result, I have to pay shipping costs to return The price is too low for a product of this quality.
