Correct, the single microfarad caps don't have labels, and there is no polarity to them
97F5476 cannot be replaced by this, as 97F5476 is not a replacement for it. There is no need for a two terminal capacitor when you need a two terminal three Are you aware of the capacitor voltage rating and the two values of capacitance stated on the capacitor?
It does appear that way in the picture
There is a 5uf MFD 370V capacitor with the part number 81A3801. You will be able to use this part if that is the capacitor you need to replace!

Worked very well. We just purchased a home with an America Select home warranty and paid about $400 for a A few months after we moved in (we moved in Summer) we had no issues. In October we turned on the heater, and it worked until the end of October, but one morning we woke up without After I called the insurance company about deductables, Johnson HVAC Steelton Harrisburg PA sent a technician to come and fix it. The average amount of time he spent was between three to four hours. In 5 minutes, he had collected his deductable and told me the switch (Safety) and controller board were bad, as there was no power going It may be necessary to order parts by Wednesday (Trane supply store in my town has Around 1000 dollars was what I was eyeing. A dozen youtube videos on this topic were helpful in deciding to get a transformer, as a transformer was 12 dollars. I replaced the transformer and soon had electricity available to the control board. After that, the inducer motor would come on, but the furnace didn't produce any gas. Despite no noise on the board, the board was flashing 4 times to indicate a limit switch problem. As soon as it was set up (it took me a few minutes to set it up), I ordered it from Trane Supply for 22 dollars. We had heat even though the ignition lamp was on and the gas was on. Due to the non-blow of the furnace fan, the furnace had a short cycle. The limit switch must have been bad for a reason. The furnace was stopped out of precaution to prevent a coil or other big damage and a capacitor was ordered. It took me seven minutes to change it and turn it I was surprised that the sequence of HVAC worked, and I was thankful for gas because 30 seconds later the fan started as if nothing had The money I saved and the troubleshooting skills I gained helped me. I would like to thank all the people who Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance. Good luck and I highly recommend the quality of the product and the speed of the shipping.
Having not used this capacitor in a while, I renovated it preventatively, which means the older capacitor was still functional. I replaced the cap, I was unable to start the compressor fan. I made sure that the capacitor value and the voltage were correct as well as making sure I wired it The only thing that I could figure out was that this was the wrong one. I bought another one and swapped it for the new one after much deliberation. There were no problems. Everything worked fine. In light of this, I conclude that the capacitor itself is defective. How likely is it that a brand new one from Amazon will turn out to be This is a waste of time for me.
There was an unpleasant burning smell coming from the AC blower fan, which stopped blowing air right away. When I replaced the cap with this one, it started right up and worked perfectly! This one is a little shorter than the previous one that it replaced, but it has the same specs (5 mf, 370 V) and it was designed to fit on the same bracket as the previous one. My HVAC guy wanted a quote for replacing the Freon for over $700, but I knew that wasn't the problem, as that wouldn't explain why the fan motor had failed. That was the first thing I tried and it saved me If you are replacing a cap, make sure you turn off the electricity and discharge it so that you do not.
The part number for Genteq 97F5705 capacitor I ordered is different from the one I received. I got one that is physically smaller, and used a different part number than what I ordered - (See attached photo. 1) The part I ordered was not the one described and pictured in the item description, and the one I ordered was not the one I ordered. You will probably be getting a functional replacement, in which case it is fine. However, let the consumers know that they are getting something different than what was It was returned to me and I had it refunded The correct part number has been ordered.
GE 97F5705 capacitors were originally used in my setup. Compared to the Genteq replacement part, it is much shorter however it has the same electrical specifications. If it's of any concern, Genteq is a division of Regal An electric motor manufacturer among the largest in the world is Beloit Corporation. It was established in 2009 and is the result of Regal's merger of its GE ECM, GE Capacitors and GE Commercial Motors divisions. I have no problems with the capacitor.
My old cap was not working, so I replaced it with this one and now it's working perfectly I chose this to replace the old GE 27L570 cap since it has the exact same dimensions, shape, and contact There was only a difference in the labels. There is a slight difference in the size of the cap in the picture. There is actually one foot in height. My eyeglasses measure 5" long (without contacts) by 2" wide. I have only had them in a couple of days so I cannot comment on their durability. This reliability lasts for a long time. This program has so far worked well for me and I'm pleased.
I had my furnace running again after having my capacitor replaced. Every time I tried to use the blower, the motor would not I was able to start it by rotating the shaft. In the end, it would usually fail at night, usually in the cold. A repair person came out and looked at my furnace for $85 just so I could try it out. He found everything to be fine. After they verified that everything was fine and took my money, they said I'd be waived the $85 if it happened again in the future. They were convinced the blower motor may be the problem In the long run, this would cost hundreds of dollars Based on my research, it seemed worth my while to replace the capacitor myself, especially as the part was so cheap. I have been running it fine for the past several months. Rather than replace the capacitor every year, I'll make it a habit to do it every year. Capacitors deteriorate over time. Spending less than $10 on a capacitor every year is cheaper than being left out in the cold and dealing with "service" personnel.
It is hard for me to express myself. The fan on my HVAC system died and it originally had a capacitor with a 3 MHz frequency. In order for this (universal) replacement motor to work, it required a capacitor with a value of 5 MFD, and this one met those requirements. The only issue I had was the shipping. The first padded envelope arrived with a tear on one end and no capacitor, so it took a couple of days for a replacement to arrive. It's easy to install (I used cable ties to secure it to existing holes in the electrical area of the HVAC unit), just secure it and connect the wires as per the diagram for your motor.
