Questions & Answers

Can you tell me what the warranty is on this piece?

Our products do not come with warranties. We apologize for this. In most cases, manufacturers will only honor warranty rights if parts are installed by a Licensed HVAC or Appliance Technician employed by a reputable contractor. It's because of the great pricing that you're here that online shopping is so appealing to you. These parts sold by HVAC or Appliance Contractors can cost as much as three or four times as much as the same parts you can find online. In addition, these parts have warranties built into the price. There are no warranty options available when it comes to buying the part online for a fraction of the cost and having it installed by an untrained HVAC or Appliance Tech. It is highly recommended that a licensed technician install this part, so that they can contact the manufacturer on your behalf and request your warranty.

Now let's look at what the means. Can you tell me what 6% means? It is time for me to replace one of mine, but the only difference is that it It is 5.5%. ?

As the name suggests, it is a tolerability The total may vary by 5% or 6%, and some are also 10% in thickness

What are the true dimensions of the universe?

Each is (2"Di x 4". The height of the tower is 75" (+. The term "5'' for terms))

It was your company that I bought two capacitors from. The one on the right has a purple dot and the one on the left does not. Do you know what this dot means?

Adding the paint dot (which can be either yellow or white) is a recent addition to the tool. Usually, the capacitance value must stay within a certain range (tolerance) of 6%. Using the previous example, if the nominal capacitance is 45 F, then the *6% range starts at 42 F. You can find the corresponding 3F-47 on page 3. The temperature is 7 degrees Fahrenheit. A capacitor is tested individually by the manufacturer to ensure that the actual capacitance value is within the specified There has been a recent trend of putting the paint mark on the buildings In the case of 42 capacitance, the color will be white. In the range 3 In case of capacitive drive, yellow means 0 F and blue if it is 45 F. The temperature ranges from 0 to 47 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature is 7 degrees Fahrenheit. If the dot is yellow it indicates that (1) the capacitor has been individually tested, and (2) its capacitance is slightly higher Proof of testing the capacitor is provided by the dot on the board.

GE is not a manufacturer of this product
3/5

The title indicates what it is. There is no problem with the product. However, the title of the product makes it appear as though you are purchasing a GE product. So, the product number is also at the end of the title A the address 97F9851 440 Volts at 45 + 5 uf MFD The title of this product is "GE Round Dual Run Capacitor". Due to that, I am giving 2 stars for any false advertising I may have encountered. Because I was in a hurry to find a capacitor, I didn't even look at the I just went with it based on the product title, as it was exactly what I wanted. I wished to buy a GE capacitor made in the USA, despite the pictures showing the product on the packaging. new one is made in Mexico, and it is not the same size as the GE one that it replaces. The only thing that will surprise me is if it lasts six months. This review will be updated as soon as it is published. The completion of which should be fairly.

I was able to fix my problem, but I had to make adjustments for the I have recently noticed that the air conditioner in my Trane home no longer cools
4/5

hasten to verify if the condenser unit (XE 1100, from 2001) is functioning, and the fan is having trouble starting. It is running, but even then there is no cooling. pipes that connect to the house -- the ones we were expecting to be cold -- were not at all cold. Despite the fact that I wasn't able to truly check the coolant, everything seemed fine to my untrained eyes. Therefore, I decided to gamble and ordered the capacitor, since it was already removed for testing and wasn't very expensive. As you can see from the photo, the original capacitor in the bracket has wires connected, but is disconnected from the bracket (one screw).

I replaced the capacitor, and everything worked just fine. and length were smaller by roughly 1/4 inch compared to the previous one. My length was no problem, and I added some padding and bicycle tubing to the bracket to make it more secure. I would not have had any difficulties in this situation, and it probably would have been a secure transaction anyway, but it just didn't seem worth the risk. The fix was easy with a little old experience with electrical equipment, mainly electronics, so it was a quick fix. The good news is that I understand electricity and how to be safe. If you aren't sure what you're doing and you don't know what 220 volts mean, be careful and learn until you can. If you allow yourself to only touch one thing at the time, and don't touch the ground or the A/C chassis, you'll probably be fine whether you get it wrong or not. It is better not to do so.

It is easy to install, but you should be careful and study the manual before doing any work on it
5/5

My research on how to change out the unit and watch a few videos entailed a few days before I attempted it. Don't leave anything to chance! After the 15-minute waiting period the new one took me another 15 minutes to install. Most mention that it is a bit smaller in diameter than the one I replaced, which meant that the band holding the capacitor in place needed to be tightened down.

This is what the order was
5/5

My experiences with Genteq caps have been very positive. They seem to last quite It was ordered as a spare since the weather in my area reached over 100 degrees and humidity was high. It has been five years since Trane replaced their original caps on their condenser unit. As opposed to paying a mark-up, it would be cheaper to keep one on hand- To be picked up from the parts place by HVAC Service tech. A dollar spent on his time is a dollar I have to pay back. Aside from fan motors, the most commonly replaced components are caps and relays.

I recommend you buy two, not one! Wow is the only word I can say
5/5

Money saved (A LOT of money) and it will be replaced within a short period of time. I would just recommend any and all of you that have a problem with your unit to view any and all videos so you won't go crazy. It's time to put the new arrival package together even before you open it. Honestly, I was a little hesitant to do this, but believe me when I say that changing your oil was a lot harder. This was such an easy process, starting from start to finish, so that my unit came back to life during a hot, humid day here in the southeast. Our best recommendation to anyone is to buy two, having one as a backup will save you time and money when these things break. Upon arriving back in the cool, it will be gone and you will be back in 15 minutes.

The product is excellent and the company is a pleasure to deal with! I have never used this one in particular, but I had to replace another capacitor with the same model before
5/5

I am not to sure about the other one, but this one looks like it's about the size of a small Red Bull can, whereas my other one was about the size of a soda Although I am not sure that I will be able to use the clamp when the time comes, can you please start shipping these with a bracket at least?.

It has an acceptable price and a good The system is valid until it fails
4/5

A new one needs to be purchased every four years. An order for the second has been placed. Upon detecting that the A/C was not running, I set the thermostat off immediately in order to prevent damage to the compressor and fan. * I did troubleshooting. I have to replace this old capacitor once again. A new one lasts for a minimum of four years. The new one will fix the air conditioning but the old one needs to be replaced.

I don't trust it so much
3/5

It failed five years ago when I bought this same GE/ Genteq capacitor. There was oil leaking from the cap of the AC compressor, which would not start. As the item was made in the United States, I paid a little more for it, assuming it would be I'm hoping this new one will last longer than 5 years. It is made in Mexico.
