The beam can indeed fan out as shown in the pic. I just tried it and it worked fine. Here's the thing, this is how it works - the beam fans out. This is a different collimation than what you're used to. It projects fine and, in fact, much farther than 8 feet on my circular saw when mounted at roughly a 45 degree downward angle.

This is 520-524 The 27 LPA brass body green line lasers have a round brass body. Packaging for all items was excellent in an anti-bacterial bag An adhesive label is attached to a static bag. In my tests, I compared these lasers with each other using the same eight. This Li-ion battery source runs at 4vdc. It is difficult to tell the difference between them in terms of brightness, focus, and sharpness. A pair of lasers shifted towards a shorter wavelength resulting in a more greenish color than the three other lasers. There were very few (if any) beam artifacts from all lasers pulled by the same source and about 70mA was drawn from each laser. As for their function, I feel they are much superior to the more expensive and somewhat more refined VLM-plus models This is 520-524 Featuring a precision square body, the 37 LPA is built to last.

I have no problems with the laser, but I have no problems with the recommended mount

As a supplemental purchase for this laser, I ordered the "user's also buy" mount. I had a 12mm T-shirt on A block with a 12mm hole and a bolt that shuts the hole tight is made of industrial aluminum "farhop" 12mm. There are 12 dots on the laser. The diameter of the ring is five millimeters, or a little less than half an inch. In order to bore out the other, I used a 1/2" twist drill. ) and the clamp works.

The straightness is perfect, professional, and precise

I was immediately impressed by the quality of the laser module when I received it. A protective bag was used to keep it safe Laser safety sticker attached to a static bag. At a distance of 5 yards, the green laser line is very sharp, and even visible from outside. It is also perfectly straight since it is a laser line. I was surprised that it worked below zero degrees without any issues even though it was made from a direct green laser diode, not from a DPPS green laser. For example, I use it as a guideline for an open space indoor without an air conditioner, and it always works fine.

A one-hour usage will cause the program to stop working

Less than an hour after I started using it, the computer stopped working. The experience was disappointing. There was a return window, but I missed it. However, I got too busy with other tasks to test this item right away when I received it.
