Several years ago, I needed to replace the light bulb on a task light from Ikea. Using these replacement bulbs is a great idea.
While I am not able to comment on how long it will last I presume it will last the same as the one that came with the lamp, as I would be over 200 years old to use the whole pack.
As of right now, they seem to work okay. I am the most bothered by the fact that many of these types of lamps have two springs There are loaded plates that when you shove the pins in, it spreads them apart, making a tight space between them. However, the ends of the pins are very square-shaped -- they have no rounded corners. Do not cut the contacts and do not spread them evenly. My efforts to press them in led to the breakage of a few bulbs. As soon as I filed the ends into a wedge point, it worked 100 times better. It would be great if they came from the factory like that.
A few bulbs came in a small package and it was nice to see that the package was sealed, as well as the fact that plenty of bulbs were included. It was a bit of a hassle installing them, but other than that, they worked as advertised.
This is what I used to replace the bulb on an Ikea lamp. What a great idea! Doesn't emit funny yellow light like the original bulb. It's bright like the original bulb. These bulbs cost under 70 cents each, so I think they're a great deal.
My GE Profile range hood was in need of new bulbs, so I purchased these. Despite their low price, the shoes fit perfectly. There are two of these fixtures on the GE website, and each is costing about $40. This was a lot less expensive than the GE website.
These were used on my 2007 Ford F150 for the interior lights. It is brighter and whiter now. This bulb produces a much better light than that of other bulbs.
It was a good price for these bulbs, they work fine in my Ancona range hood, but unfortunately they do not last as long as they should, this could be due to the range hood, otherwise they are good.
