These Philips MR16 bulbs use recycled glass and packaging materials, helping to reduce the impact on the environment
The Philips LED bulbs will fit either GU10 or GU16 HUE products from Philips are not compatible with this device. The Philips LMR16 Indoor Halogen Flood Light is meant for use only in 120V enclosed fixtures and is not to be connected to a power source

Questions & Answers

A ceiling fixture with beige glass shades hangs in our living room. In order to light the sides of the room, we need a bulb that gives off light from the sides as well. The bulb is working, but how long is its life expectancy?

Those are the lights I use in the vent hood above my stovetop to ventilate it, and to provide light. Five foot) They do not appear to be used to provide light from the side. They do not seem to do so to me- The flat round part, which you see in the picture, is opaque on all surfaces except that flat surface. This may be of some help to you.

Is it possible to dim these?

In short, yes. Their basic operation is that the filament is heated up and emits light when an electric current is applied). They can be dimmed with a standard dimming system. It is necessary to use a special dimming device with compact fluorescent bulbs and LEDs.

In this regard, what is the degree of Kevin for these bulbs? Are they full floods or limited in that sense?

There are 2800 Kelvin degrees in the world. According to the manufacturer, this bulb is a standard flood. Here is some information I hope will be

Despite the description claiming these are leds, the details show they draw 50 watts, so I am not sure they are. How does the LED color temperature compare to that of a CFL?

You got it! Thanks for noticing! Halogens are indeed used as halogen lamps. GU10 LED lamps made by Philips are available here With just a simple Google search you can see that Philips offers several GU10 LED options including WarmGlow (dim to amber) and fixed colors like 3000K

Each year is worse than the last
3/5

They're used by 8 fixtures in our facility. They always burn out more rapidly every time I order them, even though I have bought them for years. Their component failure is engineered to occur after 2000 hours, but ours does not last even of the plants in the last box only lasted a couple months before they died. The same bulb used to last over a year in the same light The next time I buy this product, I will try a different brand. I am tired of paying so much for a product of declining In the past, they lasted only 2000 hours, but these will last for years, not weeks as they did before. There is a way to make a much better and longer lasting bulb for the same price. However, Philips does not want that to happen. It's easier to buy more when they burn out faster. My heart aches.

The quality is really bad
3/5

They are the second set of Phillips bulbs I've purchased, and they are a waste of money. There have been none that have lasted more than two years The device was used for 3 months with very little That is 12 bulbs that are never expected to last more than Purchase another brand as a favor to yourself.

The duration of the course is two The bulbs were purchased on April 20th 2018 from Amazon and I immediately installed three into a new fixture that I purchased from Amazon as well
3/5

The third bulb has just been replaced! It is now June 24, 2018. This is either a fault of the bulbs or of the fixture itself.

This is not worth the effort! I am highly dissatisfied and disappointed after reading many reviews and comparing prices! My lightbulbs have been in my house for only 3 months and already two of them have burned By paying a little more for a well-known brand I thought I would get a better product
3/5

I was wrong.

These bulbs make me hate them
3/5

I used a bulb that lasted less than 2 hours. Other than that, everything has been fine. In my rental apartment, these are used for the light fixtures. I'd remove the fixtures with these from my home if I could. Because of my low ceiling, I have a low income. There are 5 bulbs in a fixture and 3 bulbs in a fixture, and the bulbs give off a lot of heat and last a short time. At the big box store close to me, they are often out of stock. In the area, there may be other cheap landlords installing these cheap 30 dollar fixtures in their units, and the tenants have to buy an endless supply of bulbs for them.

Except for one, everything worked except for one
4/5

This is what I call the 6 Two of the five MR16 Gu10 Base lights work as expected, but one is defective. My order arrived over the weekend. I tried out the bulbs that weekend and all but one of them were fine. I almost cut my fingers when I opened the package of one. As each is individually packaged, I opened it carefully. As a result of the edges of the bulb being so sharp on one of the bulbs, the glass had cracked. The piece of glass was just put back in the package, since I didn't want everything to be covered in glass. A seller feedback has been left by me The bulb should be in good condition and they should be able to send it to me. As I wait for a response, I am in a state of anticipation.

This OEM bulb is great It is a very bright source of light
5/5

The Phillips bulbs are no exception since there is nothing quite like OEM products. I like how well they are made and how much light they provide. I now have a range hood that is almost 'too bright' at 50W per cylinder. In the course of time, the original bulbs lost some of their luster. When one burned out, I replaced it with an identical bulb. retrospect, I can see that it was 25 to 30. It would have been sufficient to use two 35 watt bulbs, given the small area. Yet you mention here There is no better bulb than these.
