". The bulbs are manufactured in Mexico and have a 39 watt bulb. Amazon's description of these bulbs is incorrect. They are NOT the advertised "made in USA" bulbs. As for the 475 Lumen output, these bulbs are NOT what is claimed to " 50 Watt equivalent ". A PAR20, 50 watt bulb has a rated output of 550 lumens. Despite what the advertisement claims, a 39 watt bulb with 475 Lumen output will produce LESS LIGHT than a brighter bulb. I will try these 39 watt, reduced output bulbs, and see if maybe they will last longer, or burn a lot dimmer, for a longest period of time.
As a result, even though they were to replace Sylvania 50 watt halogen bulbs in those fixtures, the bulbs are only half as bright. Since I have an old working bulb and I have compared it side by side with a new bulb, I know. It looks so dim in my lit rangehood when I have these.
