Warm colors are typically associated with that. The higher the number, the whiter and cooler it is.

These bulbs are great, and I have them throughout my house. The pros include The dimmer should be set all the way up when the light is very bright. Dim when you turn the dimmer all the way down
• Pleasantly warm when you turn it all the way down It is dim when the dimmer is turned down, especially when the daylight is dim. Cons As I was recently replacing some of these bulbs with LED equivalents, I discovered they draw more power than LED lights**
• They use more wattage than LED lights. Despite several attempts, I have not been able to find any LED bulbs that offer the same warm glow and dimming range as So I will stick with halogen bulbs for the time being.
The truth is out there. However, the actual bulbs arrive showing 680 lumens. Despite the advertisement showing 400 lumens, the bulbs arrived with 680 lumens. This is the worst possible thing that could have happened to Philips and the site that allows it to happen. Light bulb purchases have become so frustrating in recent months. As you compare, you need to be sure you're comparing the right specifications, like lumens, color temperature (K), and please let all the product details show the right specs. Is it too late to put an end to the madness?.
There are few light bulbs as good as the ones made by Philips. My 25-inch television has been fitted with these halogen bulbs for a long time The year is Tracking lighting has already been around from Day one, and it has always held up exceptionally There are dimmable bulbs and bright white light that does not dim over time. Good luck getting the bulbs shipped to CA if you live there In California, it is nearly impossible to find bulbs that are not "efficient enough" because of whatever the standard is at the moment, but you can usually find one or two sellers or packaging variations that can be shipped. (3 was not available with my order I am sending a set of two 3-inch bulbs to CA, but I need an entire 3-inch bulb set for my store You can order packs from the same seller and have them shipped to California. You’d think I would have needed less than six bulbs, but what can you There used to be an old version of this bulb without a glass cover that was built into fixtures in the form of round glass disks. You can remove the glass disk from the fixture and throw it in your junk drawer, because the current version of the bulb has a flat glass face.
Based on the reviews for some of the cheaper ones, I was not convinced that the savings would justify another step up. There are other identical Philips halogen bulbs in other fixtures (in tall vaulted ceilings) that I have had for over ten years and they are still burning (gratefully). Thanks a lot! Please see PS. These aren't available at my local big box hardware store, so get many so you will be ready when the supply runs low.
Although Phillips bulbs were the correct size and voltage, they were shipped as 6 bulbs per box instead of three per package. In the 3-pack, the lights were advertised as 750 lumens, but they were just 680 lumens. Beware this difference as it may make it appear that your fixtures are different than the ones you have now due to the picture of 3 and the box of the six pack listing Philips Halogen MR16 as the product.
As of now, only two of them have lasted a few months each.
It is extremely difficult to find "new" fixtures that accept this bulb. KISS would be to order replacement bulbs if current bulbs were broken or dead. In the end, the electrical fixture was toast, so it was impossible to find a "new" light fixture to use.
I usually dim these small bulbs to make them last longer and to keep them cooler, as they get very hot. They can get so hot that the wires burn when the valves are on "full. ".
