This particular batch was the first time I tried it. I have used others in similar circumstances. For the most part, they will resist the weather for some time, but if you spray water directly on the face plate there is a tendency for it to corrode.
Water will not come out of this
No, they're momentary switches that turn on for a short period of time. It is "on" only if you press it.
I've opened) as configured - Push, pull, flip, or other actions are needed to close a circuit ("energize") The Twidec/10Pcs 1A 250V AC 2 Pins SPST Black Mini Momentary Push Button Switch with Pre-Insert is designed to enable quick movement of the circuit. I received a second set of switches after the seller contacted me and sent me a review. They are all smaller in diameter and the nut and washer are removable, the build quality is still good, and I am updating my rating. REVIEW You can read the old review here Generally, this looks to be good quality work, however there is a size difference between the red button and the nut and washer, so they cannot be removed. Having a U-shaped hairstyle would be nice It's fine if you want a V-shaped spot to secure it, but if you want to feed the button through a hole, it's not going to work.
The switches worked, and some had the heat shrink applied way above the exposed metal terminals, which meant it had no effect and the switch terminals were exposed as well. I'd rate the quality as mediocre on the whole. You need to apply heat shrink to ensure good attachment and no shorts if you want your leads to be attached properly.
My dehumidifier is equipped with a few of them. Wear and tear had worn out the original momentary switches on the circuit board. Soldering these in and mounting them to the unit cover took about an hour. It works really well. The OEM switches don't seem to last as long as these.
The quality of the product I used it to replace my car alarm valet switch and it worked flawlessly. Crimping was done using crimping tape It is important not to use hot solder to install the connectors as many reviewers had warned against it.
Although they are small, they are of a good quality and, as there were few other choices, I couldn't have used something inferior so these stood out and I was very pleased with them.
Use them only on things that are not costly or that matter to you. This is an extremely unreliable source. I have used all of the tools on a large project. Don't work 50% of the time. I don't need to press them very often, but when I do half of the time they don't work.
There is no problem with the switches and they operate smoothly. Using these momentary switches to replace a worn out push button panel, I was able to solve the problem. With heat shrink wrap at both connection points, the wiring appears to be in good condition. I would recommend this.
