As expected, these were solid enough to do the job. To activate the button, you must apply quite a bit of force, probably more than I had anticipated. One of the units I took apart was easy to disassemble, and I cut the spring to lower the tension, but that caused it to fail. If you want to buy anything, just keep this in mind.

The button switches are great! Then read on! My little book nook was exactly what I needed, and I used these perfectly! It is easy to solder directly to the tabs by folding them down

I plan on filing down a few of the tabs to use for prototyping since they're a little too wide to fit into a breadboard.

This is not a breadboard compatible part

This is a nice little pen but the connectors are too wide to push through breadboards or PCBs. I must admit that they do not claim they are and I was looking at them via my phone so I didn't notice how wide the spades were.
