Using these switches for this application would be the best. During the beginning of my old vehicles, I use this switch and a momentary switch. It has so far been a good experience.
If something like that required 12 volts to activate the bolts, the diode likely would not light up, or it would only light up at a very low intensity

The switch has been made. It is of good The wiring harness is easy to install, and it is supplied with a nice mounting bracket. The instructions show how to wire a switch to always be lit, to be lit when the output is on (like I have), to be lit when the output is off, or to be.
My motorcycle's running lights light up beautifully with this light switch once I understood the instructions, but when I finally figured it out it works great for using the switch on the motorcycle running lights, thanks for the great instructable!.
In the beginning, they both worked flawlessly and looked great, but after a week, the power switch broke and now works only as an on/off intermittent switch that can be pushed, not pressed as an on/off switch. Basically, I'm hoping to believe it's a defective switch, but the horn switch works perfectly, and many other reviews hint of most of them working for the most part. I may have to order it again to see if it's a defective switch.
I haven't wired it up yet but was definitely happy with the product!.
I used this to control the lights in the bed of my 2014 F150 and it worked perfectly in an existing hole behind the tail lights to wire everything in.
This switch is very nice to me, if I had to do it over again I might go smaller just for what I am using it for in my case, but I absolutely love the way it looks and functions.
As a rule, I order these push buttons if they are in stock since I use a lot of them. It's nice that it comes with a No problems with them. They have been working as they should.
Upon hooking it up to power, the LED burnt out as soon as I hooked it up. It does the same thing when I order another one. There was still a green light on the switch, but it did not work. That was the end of it for me. My order for another one is canceled. As much as I can, I will deal with what is before me.
