In my truck, I just plug the trailer in and this is running on my truck

In order to dump, I use the 2 wires to hook up to the trailer and I do not have to get out of my truck to do so anymore. I ran the wire from the bumper to the cab and I also hooked up a 4 wire trailer plug. Moreover, the OEM remote is still in the dump trailer tool box, so I can use it if necessary.

A very good product that is easy to install. All the wires were completely different from what I had on my dump trailer except for the color. You only had to figure out where the up and down switch is on the dump for up and down.

The Dumper Dogg dump insert I bought from Amazon had a switch that was "weather resistant" but not rated for outdoor use. Wiring this switch in parallel with the original switch allowed me to connect it to an outside switch.

I was looking for something like that. This works really well. It happens sometimes that when I remove it from the toolbox the magnets stick to the toolbox rather than to the controller. I don't know. Perfect! I really appreciate it. With the 4-wire connection, I can operate the trailer with this controller with a power up and power down feature.

This is a very poor quality build

This is not a good choice if you value your safety and time. Expect to spend around $100 on a quality pendant switch and more on a cord that is strain-resistant.

Can you substitute? This switch appears to be electrically and functionally equivalent to what I ordered, but it isn't the same color as the one I ordered and it appears to be a similar switch sold by a different vendor for the same price
