I've been running a custom assembly machine on two of their models for several months, and they're tough and simple to operate. I use a Raspberry Pi and the GPIOzero library to control them. br>br> br>Step them by coding them as an LED and using the toggle() command. Using the Raspberry Pi necessitates a change in level from 3. 3 to 5V. This is where the Texas Instruments CD74ACT541 line driver chip comes in handy. Simply supply 5V to the chip. The Pi sends 3V signals to one side, and the stepper driver receives 5V signals on the other.
I purchased about 5 stepperonline drivers, which worked flawlessly for nearly a month before failing. Amazon had terminated the 30-day return policy, so I had to deal with Stepperonline, who assured me that they would send me new drivers. I trusted their emails and purchased more because I couldn't wait to get back to work, but I never heard from them again, and they sent me the old 545t NEMA 24 drivers, which I never received. Aside from that, they'll go over the returns.
There are no issues; it was very simple to install and it works perfectly.
As a substitute for, I used this. It was dead silent. This served as a substitute for my CNC router's Z axis. It was a huge improvement over the TB6560 driver. The majority of it is audio. It was extremely quiet. There is no smooth stepping with resonance. br>I said the same thing in my other review of the DM542T for X and Y. br>Stepperonline created both.
