After years of AT&T service, we gave it up We have an AT&T land line. I was searching for a terminal board that would allow us to connect our house phone cables together at the AT&T service. Connect the T terminal box to the external AT&T network without connecting to the external AT&T network Our new non-T cable is compatible with our new non-T Using a land-line phone system enabled everyone in the house to have access to a phone. With its screw terminals, this item was not only able to do so, but also had two bonus features I was able to test the RJ11/12 jack with my local phone, and the holes in the board made it easier to sort out the wires by color. It was wonderful to see that one of the three household cable phone lines in our 30+ year old house had the proper red and green wire color codes, which was not the case with the other two! In the end, I had to twist the ends of the same polarity wires together and then mount them in the appropriate screw terminals, after I sorted out the color codes. As you can see in the attached photo, AT&T has its logo You can see the T cable wires attached to their terminal at the top of the photo, and under that, you can see the subject product. The RJ11/12 jack allowed local testing of the connections with a It is also sturdy and well made, not vulnerable to breakage or bending.
Great for those special projects that require the ability to interface a RJ11 cable to anything else like a microcontroller. There is only one thing you need a controller. The one I have is used to interface the Davis anemometer with a Particle Photon, and it works great. Two capacitors have been added, (0 and 1. Infinite capacitors of 1uF and 4uF are used. The suggested 4uF plus 7uF) will result in a total of 16uF. This resistor has a value of 7K*.
My home phone will be connected to this unit for a little homemade item. Whenever I'm in the market for a little thing or something extra, their products are most definitely going to be in my shopping cart. Clients who are happy with their experience.
The signal from a Davis anemometer is good for breaking out and working with.
I am pleased with the.
To test out phone cable, I used it to hook up to a connector and use an ohm meter to measure how much resistance the wire was under. I know it sounds silly, but one end of the wire needs to be bare while the other ends need to be connected.
An RJ11 test probe adapter I made with a PCA I used for an interface.
It was exactly what I was looking for. The LEDs and resistors indicate if the data has been read or written.
