In addition to its orange color, Acetal copolymer plastic resists corrosion and moisture. It can also be used in acetone, alcohol, ethyl, grease, oils, commercial dish detergent, gasoline, lacquer solvents, and sodium hydroxide.

A maximum operating temperature of 170 degrees F is required

Suitable for drinking (potable) water, it meets the NSF/ANSI standards 14, 51, and 61

If you have trouble fitting them together, try cooling the inside of one and warming the outside. It went together better.

This is NOT a 1/4" ID screw, but rather a 3/8" ID screw, which will not fit in a 1/4" mounting.
