That's all there is to the downfall - no way to secure the valve The entire valve moves when you turn it on or off, and it can come into contact with the valves nearby. There was disappointment in my heart. In this case, it is better to buy the valves with a Male 1/4" pipe thread on one end, and make your own manifold out of Brass or Iron.
