It could be great if it was the right size. The grip portion is 3/16 and not 1/4 as indicated on the box, which means that it is too small to fit in Combo kit for drill and impact driver with 24 volt matrix drill).

It was imperative to bore holes in dirt as well as blacktop for my driveway markers (for snowplowing and snowblowing). The product is of very high quality and is very reasonably priced.

My guess is that I was drilling through high strength concrete since this bit and the other two new bits -- 5/16 & 7/16 -- are so strong The 7/16 inch hole did not yield much of a progress (I needed a 7/16". ). While the Bosh impact drill was working fine, it was unable to drill through concrete. Furthermore, at no point was a punch option available intermittently.

I was satisfied with the result. This is what I use to prepare In order to ensure that orange fiberglass snow markers will stay upright, pilot holes are drilled to set the markers deep into the ground. When the ground is frozen, it helps quite a bit.

The software works as it is intended to. It is not too difficult to penetrate a concrete block all the way through.
