Well, I won't repeat what dozens of other reviewers have said about the quality of the gear. This won't blow your mind, but it'll do what you need it to do. With the cost of the kit in mind, I'd highlight the drill and ratcheting screwdriver as particularly top notch.
My one complaint is they advertise thirty two (32) screwdriver bits in the kit. This is a factual statement. However, they fail to mention that over half of these bits are duplications. There are TWENTY doubles out of the 12 distinct bits that I received. I think having a duplicate of the most common bits would be a good idea for a basic DIY kit such as this one. I need six PH2 Phillips bits, but do I really need that many? The following screwdriving bits have been sent to me * For the purchaser's information In a nutshell.
It has its limitations, but it does the job I bought it for. The 12V drill is not that powerful, but it does the job. I accidentally read the Safety tag on the battery charger (for no real reason, it was a coincidental trip. charger will not work on batteries other than the 16V and 20V batteries because other batteries may burst. Since I haven't charged mine yet, and haven't seen any reviews of this specific model, I have no idea how such situations play out. I find it unacceptable when there is no regard for the safety of the consumer. I trust that if I plug in something for charging, I won't have to worry about it blowing up since these tools take hours to charge. As far as the tools themselves are concerned. For the price, I'd give it a 5-star rating. They aren't on par with the professional gear. Although they won't get much done, they can handle the basics.
Kits like this are great. Compared to what I expected, the drill is smaller and lighter weight, and the storage bag is smaller than it appears to me That's good enough for me. The 12v drill I have been using has shown to be considerably easier to hold steady and control than the more powerful one I used to have. It can be used to drill through plaster walls and wood as well. As of now, I have mounted some coat racks and curtain rods on the wall they serve their purposes quite well. All of the other tools are also very useful and of good quality. The storage bag has plenty of room. As an addition, I threw in a couple of extra hammers and a small storage box with miscellaneous items. The bag would be nice if it had an outside pocket and some inside pockets for small bits as well, but it's clear this kit is priced at an affordable price. There is a big "CHINA" stamp on the hammer which may be a bit off putting for some. My dad had all of his tools marked "USA. " I remember that. Changes have taken place over the years.
There is a lady who wants to have This is a very nice set from Black and Decker. One of the things I like about this drill is that it comes with other useful tools such as tape measure, hammer etc. My only regret would be that it does not have concrete.
I like this a lot. There is no household without a tool kit that includes everything you need to carry out small household tasks. The power drill is strong enough to get all the simple household tasks done and it is stocked with all the other little tools that you will need during the day. Pros - Costs less (a lot less than other kits)* - The quality of the tools is good - Works well and gets the job done - You get everything you need pretty much in this package
- It includes everything you need for small jobs around the house, including the charger (and room to add more things). I recommend it to those looking for a small kit that has everything they need.
You can use it for tasks around the house that require basic tools. There are some very small tools (such as the hammer, the wrench, the tape measure and the drill), but they work quite It is not going to be able to handle heavy duty work, so I'm assuming buyers will figure that out. The drill and the battery seem solid, and I was able to do some minor jobs without any problems. Several of the tools appear to be made of solid materials and are of normal size. This set is an excellent value for its price and for work that is light in nature.
I am not experienced with tools, however, this kit gives me what I need. As a result of this purchase, others that I have purchased needed assembly were able to be assembled as well. Charged the charger for an afternoon of putting up curtains for five windows and it lasted for the whole time!.
So far, its pretty easy to use around the house, you can fix pretty much anything with it.
