Interestingly, I have never cut plexiglass with a step bit. The trick with plexi is not to melt it while drilling.
I am glad you asked. Thank you. This version of the 10234 is designed for plastic and metal. Steel hardened to a high temperature would be too hard for this

This is unfortunate, but you can't help it Despite my best efforts, I cannot fit my "3/4" diameter tube into my 3/4" OD tube. What's the reason? In light of the recent events In reality, this drill bit has a "3/4" cutter, not a The item measures 18 inches long by 6 inches wide by 3 inches tall. I think the 8 mm is just fine. There's something wrong with that This is 5mm). As for the rest, this works just fine. The cheap bit will cut your holes more or less accurately, but don't expect any.
My business is building DIY pedals (stomp boxes) for guitar and this drill bit is the bee's knees. It is no longer necessary for me to change drill bits to drill different sizes of holes for If you use a TEKTON 6580 Automatic Center Punch, start the hole with a 1/8" titanium bit first, since this Unibit tends to slip a little otherwise. You can also keep the bit oily with Tap Magic Industrial Pro Cutting Fluid for optimal performance. My series of aluminum enclosures have already been drilled hundreds of times with this and it's still working perfectly. Excellent product. I would buy it again for sure.
For metal work, as well as when you need a nice finish on the edge, these are useful. No pilot hole is necessary for this Irwin bit to start, and it cuts through most metals and wood very smoothly.
A good step bit with a middle of the road quality. In the limited drilling I have done with mine, I have had no issues. For people who want to do their own projects, this is a wonderful product. However, it's not quite durable enough for professional use. The product is being sold at a price that I do not believe a person should expect more from.
A tool to accomplish a specific task. In order to create a brew kettle, I was drilling a hole through a very thick gauge pot. I had a few hiccups with my handheld drill, but the product was perfect for the job. Here, I would like to issue just one word of caution. Wear gloves and safety glasses if you're using a lot of force to drill through thick metal. There is no doubt that your hands and arms can get scorched when pieces of hot metal pop off the workbench. Consider what it will do to your eye if it gets in there.
Until now, I have never known who I really am. There are some great bits here. Use safety squints while using them since they can be dangerous. It seems as though oil is helpful in steel that is thick. It is only natural to expect this.
The edge has been sharp so far. Hopefully it will stay that way. The bag has cut more than a dozen holes as I mentioned, so hopefully it won't stop It arrived as described in the description and was delivered on time.
It has been over a year since I got my # 502 Unibit 3 computer. The set parameter must be Numbers divided by a power of two In addition to 1, 2 & 3 The third week is complete. In fact, I've had it When holes are drilled in sheet metal or thin plastic, I occasionally make use of my Unibit*. Every hole produced by them is round and smooth.
